I've had this mattress for a bit over a year now, after my old hybrid-spring mattress started to get really uncomfortable. My brother had bought one of these, and really liked it. For the first few months, it was perfect: a good stiffness, good rebound night after night, and of course, comfortable. I knew I was paying a low price, and didn't have high expectations, but it definitely did great, specially for it's cost. A few months ago, I started to get backaches, and I figured it was because of a new job, sitting at a desk all the time. It wasn't until I went on a short weekend away recently where I noticed that a meh hotel bed got rid of the backaches. I usually HATE hotel beds, but I realized that this mattress was the problem. It's now better described as "mushy", rather than medium firm. Because it's different on each side, I can rotate it, but I did that 6 months ago after it started to feel mushy on the other end. Basically, it was good for a few months, and then went downhill fast. And because it's memory foam, rotating it will only do so much. I'm going to start looking for a new mattress, because I'd much rather pay 2-3x the cost and have a comfortable bed for years over paying a low cost and have something that really only was nice for a few months. ... show more

The memory foam has that classic slow-sinking feel that’s great for pressure relief—especially if you sleep on your side or back. After a few nights, my shoulders and hips definitely felt better supported than with my old spring mattress. It arrived tightly rolled and vacuum-sealed. I unboxed it and let it sit for a full day before sleeping on it. It expanded fully and didn’t have any weird chemical smell—actually, there was a slight green tea scent that faded quickly, which was way better than the plasticky smells I’ve gotten from other foam products. There are a few things to be aware of: it’s soft. If you like a firmer mattress or sleep on your stomach, it might not be for you.
