Really bummed out with Amazon on this deal, I opened this thing and took it out of the box and detected a faint hint of mildew. I found out why when got it all the way open, the center of the topper was damp to the touch and once fully opened the smell of mildew was unmistakable. The outer box was dry, and the box that it was double packed in was dry, so now I am super gun shy about ordering another one. There were also tiny holes all along the edges of the topper on both ends. Hate having to go through the hassle of returns. What a pain to box this thing up especially since it comes shrink wrapped and I have no way to re-create that process.

I am naturally a skeptic about reviews, particularly when I see too many good or bad reviews posted close together with ambiguous names/titles attached. This one is real. I have a 20 year old Stearns and Foster mattress. I am likely in need of an upgrade but want to invest some time, energy, and money into a nice upgrade. In the interim, I wanted an inexpensive fix. Found it. For the first time in I can’t say how many years, I was able to sleep flat on my back without moving all night. Foam is great. It really helps reduce movement from other person in bed. Description and positive reviews are on point as far as my experience goes. Really, SO inexpensive @$50, how could one go wrong? You can’t. I also added a $50 “Home Sweet Home” pillow topper (sans bugs, stains, and hair per other reviews) and the “Sleep Restoration” gel pillows (sans mold per some reviews). Look past some of that negativity and take a risk on some great deals and great sleep.

UPDATE Used this topper for nearly a year. Still sank into it causing tossing and turning. Ultimately just got used to it and would still swing for gel-based the next time I buy. Arrived well packaged, tightly wrapped in plastic, within a large, thin draw string tote bag similar to the recycled grocery bag material. Might be able to reuse it in some way... At the top of the tote bag was a company note card and small gift of 3 small, well made, and cute blank occasion cards "ie. "Thank you" and "Hello" on the front. The pad had a light chemical smell as expected...pretty much unnoticable after left to fluff up and air out for about 14 hours. The green tea portion has maybe the slightest pleasant aroma? Could be my imagination. There are peeling corners between the yellow and green layers out of the box. Also, there is what appears to be a large clothing-iron shape/size portion sheared off the green layer near the center of the pad. Initially lying on the pad is very pleasant. After a few minutes, gravity takes over and I have sunk deep to the middle of my full sized bed. I have a feeling I am going to be tossing about and should have swung for a gel based pad for soft but firm support. Maybe if there was equal weight on either side of the bed it would feel less like a cradle and feel more supportive? If looking for charm in packaging A+. Quality/durability a B-. Appearance a C-. Support a B.

Just received my topper today. I rolled it onto the mattress and wasn’t very happy. I like the product but disappointed. It’s seems like it would be super comfortable and exactly what I had hoped for but it’s dirty and there are puncture marks/ tear on the corner.not to mention little chunks torn. Was this maybe a returned product? There are smudge like fingerprints all over the top. So now do I just deal with the product or return it and wait for it to arrive and then get the replacement? Wasted time. This very well could have been a fluke but disappointed since I needed to use this for guests visiting.

Honestly shocked. I purchased this topper without any expectations. 1. Because it's cheap. 2. Because I've never bought an item like this before and had no idea what to look for, what type to buy, etc. Like I said above. I'm shocked. I am using this in conjunction with the Beckham luxury plush topper/pad and my bed feels better than it did brand new. I can't believe it. The plush topper is also an incredible value. Definitely recommend buying them both together.

It is a lot better than I expected. It is actually 3" thick like it says. The foam part is a lot more dense than I expected. I thought it would be the same as the phony egg crate pads, but it is almost the same density as the memory foam. I just got but but so far I love it. Also, it didn't take any time for it to poof out. It puffed up to the full 3 inches right out of the box!

Since all of the reviews for this mattress topper seem to be lumped together regardless of thickness, I will start by saying this review is in regards to the 3 Inch topper specifically. I bought this topper in order to soften a mattress from the same manufacturer that I found to be a bit too firm. From reading the questions a reviews on the product page I was expecting a very "squishy" mattress topper. I bought the 3" thick model to account for the softness I was reading about in the reviews. Essentially, I expected to get 3" of softness I added to my mattress. That's not what I got. If you look at the picture that goes with the 3" topper, you'll see that it's too colors, green and yellow. These are two different foams that are simply glued together. The green foam makes up about 1" of the thickness and is very squishy and what is what I expected the entire pad to feel like. The yellow foam is the remainder and is very dense and does not seem to give at all when I lie on it. I'm 200 lbs, so I don't think my weight or lack thereof is the issue. On top of that, the two foams are already starting to come apart and I've had it less than two days. If I can't return it (I've already contacted the seller) I may just pull the entire thing apart and keep the green foam. That's another thing: the topper is shipped rolled up and compressed. Once it's unboxed and unwrapped, it's virtually impossible to get it back in the box. So td;dr version: The three inch version is not squishy. If your looking for squishy get the two inch or 1.5 inch one.
