My heart rate dip is higher and I don’t wake up as often. I also fall asleep faster!! I am a side sleeper and it is amazing. I also find myself sleeping on my back some which I’ve never done in the past but this thing is so comfy and supportive!! It was on sale for 40% off and I’m so glad I gave it a try!! I ordered it before I went out of town for about 5 days. I opened it before I left and came back to a perfect mattress ready and waiting. I definitely think it is cooling but be careful what mattress cover you put on it because it can block the cooling factor. I find bamboo waterproof to be the best. I purchased this mattress several weeks ago. I’m a side-sleeper, and was looking for a comfortable, mid-price foam mattress. I saw this one recommended as a budget-friendly option in a compilation of mattresses available for online purchase. So far, it’s great. It was a little difficult, but not impossible, to set it up by myself. The hardest part was moving the box across the apartment and into my bedroom. The mattress did not have any setup instructions inside the box. I probably could have looked them up online, but I’d pulled an all-nighter preparing for my move and I was desperate to get this unwrapped so I could take a nap! I put the wrapped mattress on my bedframe, and unwrapped/unrolled it there. (I have a metal platform bed frame, and do not use a box spring.) The mattress expanded nicely once it was unwrapped, and was immediately very comfortable. I haven’t experienced a noticeable cooling effect, but I’m sleeping very well and am impressed with the quality of this mattress. Pros: - good balance of quality and affordability - Relatively easy to set up - Comfortable for side-sleepers Cons: - The “cooling” effect seems exaggerated. - No instructions in the box. I bought a queen. I'm 6/4 and 250 lbs. This is not memory foam as much as it is miracle gel. It fits to your contours every time and relieves pressure points. I have some bothersome nerve tingling in my toes, but for some reason, this mattress relieves most if not all of it, leading me to think that my former mattress may have led, due to my weight, some increased pressure on a nerve somewhere. In any event, I am happy with the fit and feel. As a bonus, when the 100-lb dog bounds into the be in the middle of the night -- I don't even notice, the mattress does not rock. Also, I don't smell any green tea, a bonus if you ask me. I followed the directions in set-up and let it expand out of the box for 3 days on the previous box spring. The cooling feature is true up to a point: it will be there until you fall asleep, but you won't notice it the more you stay in one spot. You cannot beat the comfort especially for the price. I will not return to spring mattresses in the $500-$1000 price range, again. OK, gotta go, feel a nap coming on . . . and Zinus is calling. ... show more

1 month experience. So its about 1 month since i bought this mattress. Its great as per my liking. I have 12 inch king size. Thing i have noticed is that when you just sit on side or push by hand, it feels like very soft. But when you sleep on it does not feel that soft. Which is a good thing.
