As said by many. Great mattress at an unheard of price point. Bought this because a friend bought one and we sleep on it when we visit. I sleep better than on my 2000.00 9 month old name brand mattress with pillow top ( mattress only, kept our old box spring, though mattress company highly recommended we purchase the full set for better performance 🤣). Seriously, if I hadn’t just bought that one....so what we did was buy this awesome mattress and put our fancy schmancy mattress in the guest room. Unboxed it and laid it across two twin beds. Took a few hours to come to size, so we left it alone, with the door shut (no peeking) for about 26 hours. It measured within 1/8” of an inch of the 10” promised. Unlike others I’m not gonna complain. I’m sure if measured again now 2 months later, it might be 10” but no matter the thickness it settled at, it is an amazingly comfortable, firm mattress. Exactly what we wanted after GADS of research on my part. I literally have no complaints after 60 days. I am 95 lbs and my husband is 198 lb. No body indents, no rolling to the center like I did on the 2000$ mattress. I do not notice “sleeping hot”. If this mattress lasts 4 years, it’s a win/win. Standard 2000$ mattresses are supposed to be replaced after 8 years ( gee, I wonder if that recommendation comes from the mattress company.,🧐) I could buy 5 of these over the next 20 years at the cost of around 1400.00 or 2 standard innerspring mattresses (no box spring, I’m assuming I’m not the only one smart enough not to fall for that upsell!) for 4000.00 hmmmmmmmmmm, and I’m quite sure this will last more than 4 years. Ok let’s recap: 1. Mattress will grow if you leave it alone and don’t peek. 2. Price is unbelievably more affordable to everyone than SM ( standard mattress). At the same time the quality is not compromised. 3. Described as firm, and it is firm but super comfortable....no pressure point pain for us middle age folk. 4. Placed on a platform base, this is to make it perform better and last longer than on the metal frame sold separately. If you have or will purchase a metal frame, put a piece of thick plywood on frame, under this mattress, and you shouldn’t have indents and lumpy spots like others have noticed. It’s just common sense that a smooth flat surface will be better than the metal open surface of the frame. 5. Immediately covered with a zip on full encasement, water resistant mattress cover. 6. Sleep like you are 20 again! If you are in your 20’s reading this, enjoy, you too will be middle aged and creaky boned some day “you whippersnapper you!” Hope this helps those of you who are on the fence about a mattress in a box 📦 that our parents would never trust....

I can't say enough about this mattress. My partner recently experienced a back injury that resulted in a herniated disc. His PT suggested that we swap out our firm spring mattress for a memory foam. This is the first memory foam mattress we have owned. I was hesitant at first because of the low price and some of the reviews, also because we were unsure if we would even like a foam mattress. After having an absolute HORRIBLE experience with another, more expensive and advertised, mattress company (Nectar I'm looking at you) we decided to pull the trigger. We have been sleeping on this mattress since the beginning of the year (2018) and it has been wonderful so far. Here are some of the benefits to this mattress: -I no longer wake up with my arm "falling asleep"/tingling numb -My neck no longer hurts -Neither of us toss and turn -My partner, who previously had to support this back by placing a pillow under his knees, no longer has to do so. He also does not wake up with back pain. -This mattress is not hot. We are both warm sleepers and live in Georgia, and sleep just fine. Some thing that you may want to consider if you are still on the fence: -We were not able to sleep on this mattress the first night because it had not fully formed. -We ordered a 10" mattress and it never expanded to the full 10". HOWEVER, it did expand evenly across the mattress. There are no sagging corners, low spots, etc. Overall, not a big deal. -There was a very minimal smell which dissipated within a few hours. -For some reason, this mattress was slightly bigger than a King, by a couple of inches in width and length. Our sheets fit very tight and it does not sit entirely on our box springs, which we already had. Finally, I am going to talk on the firmness of this mattress. We are definitely, 100%, no doubt, fans of firm mattresses. This mattress fits what we like, however we both agree it could be slightly firmer. I am a stomach and side sleeper, whereas my partner is a side and back sleeper and we are both very comfortable in this bed. The edges hold shape and are just as firm as the rest of the mattress, if you like to sleep close to the edge. I would absolutely recommend this mattress to family, friends, a random person on the street if they asked. We are definitely happy, and you cannot beat the price. Hope this review helps!

It arrived in a busted box but due to it being wrapped well by the manufacturer there were no issues with the product. It took just over 24 hours to fluff up and was able to sleep on it within 48 hours. Material is consistent with the description. It is a true medium/firm and is perfect for what I needed. I wanted something extra cooling but I just don't think that is realistic with any type of mattress. I am going through Chemo which causes night sweats. The best I can say about the cooling that once I roll over out of my spot it cools off very quickly and then I can roll back over and have comfort to fall back to sleep. This is not an issue with the mattress but more of what my needs are at the moment. I would buy this again and would recommend it to anyone looking for a firm/medium mattress. Great value for the price.

For someone looking for a mattress on a budget, I would definitely recommend Zinus, I was looking all over the internet for the mattress in a box, I looked at, ghost bed, purple, leesa, tuft & needle, Casper.. among a whole bunch of others. Zinus by far was the best price! I was reluctant as first as I didn't know how well this mattress would be for the price compared to others. Also, I am a bigger guy, I am 5"11 and 277lbs, I was worried the mattress would be an issue for supporting me. Let me say that this mattress has exceeded my expectations greatly, this is my first memory foam mattress, I purchased the Zinus green tea gel infused 10" king mattress. The packaging suggested to let it air out for 24-48hrs, I gave it a day and a half, it did half off gassing smell as it was sealed in plastic but after the second day that completely went away. I'm sure if you were to open all your Windows and let air flow freely it would be faster but I didn't do that personally. The mattress took a few moments to adjust to my body as it is a memory foam mattress, it is firm, maybe too firm for some people.. that's what I initially thought but after laying on it, it has adjusted very well and gets more and more comfortable with each night. I've had this mattress for a little over a week which isn't long, but so far it's amazing and I love it. I also purchased the Zinus 14" smart base bed frame which is sturdy, quiet, and was a breeze to set up, took about 15-20min I truly couldn't be happier with my purchase, hope this helps anyone on the fence about Zinus

I bought the king mattress for my boyfriend for Christmas. I was very nervous making this purchase because I have never heard of buying a mattress online and not even knowing the quality or having ever felt it before. I bought it about a month before Christmas and since I didn’t want my boyfriend to open it until then I had to leave it in the box even though the company clearly says to unwrap it within 72 hours of receiving it. I was so worried that the mattress wouldn’t inflate right and the quality would be poor, but I just crossed my fingers and hoped for the best. Fast forward to Christmas Day and my boyfriend is super excited about his gift. We unwrap it and let it inflate for the specified 24-48 hour inflation period before laying on it. It inflated completely fine except one corner seemed to inflate slower so my boyfriend punched that corner a few times and it popped up and inflated just fine. The next day we decided to test out the mattress for the first time. It is so comfortable and fantastic quality that I wasn’t expecting as I have only owned mattresses before from stores that have cost upwards 500$. This mattress is just as comfortable if not more comfortable than my store bought mattress. It is soft and also firm with the perfect amount of support. I also purchased the Zinus metal platform/bed frame as well which ended up being of great quality as well. I will never buy an overpriced mattress again and will definitely come back to Zinus again in the future. If you’re trying to decide on buying an online mattress and have sorted through hundreds of reviews just like I did, this mattress is fantastic quality and absolutely heaven!

We bought this to replace our 20 year old - old fashioned pillow top mattress. I slept great on it, but my wife has been having back problems and thought it might be time to replace the mattress. I went with this Zinus Green Tea model since it had over 60,000 reviews...mostly good! It unpacked and expanded pretty good. On the third day now, it looks like a perfect rectangle. My first impressions were "wow, this is FIRM." I lay down on it to go to bed and it feels like I am laying on top of a hill, but then I slowly sink down into the memory foam and gets very comfortable. Two nights in and I have slept pretty good and my wife loves it! I think the biggest positive so far with this mattress is when I get out of bed. I am 53 years old and with the old mattress, while I was comfortable and slept good...I would get up in the middle of the night and could hardly walk as all my joints were out of whack. The last two nights with this mattress have been wonderful...each time I get out of bed there is noticeably little or no pain what so ever! I am considering getting a 2 or 3 inch topper just to make the top a little softer, but for now, I am very happy with this purchase!

We bought this mattress Dec 2017, had no other problems except it was kinda uncomfortable from the beginning. The morning after the first night i slept on it, it had a permanent body impression. You also feel like you're sliding down a hill to the middle of bed when two people are sleeping on it. So yes, i have been putting up with this mattress for years. Then spring of 2022 i was so uncomfortable from the saggy mattress that i flipped it over and put my sheet on the backside. Since my body was hurting from the sagginess, the hard firm backside was amazing for a few days. So after i put the sheet on i started noticing shinny things on it. I didn't think anything of it. i thought it was elastic breaking down in my sheet..lol but there was no elastic in it. I completely brushed it off, didn't think anything of it. My kids start to complain of itching and break out with rashes and eczema. They had eczema as babies so i thought oh great its back but that's not normal for them to both have it after not having it for years. I have never had eczema but recently discovered it on my fingers and elbow. I've also started having eye irritations and eye twitching. Back to the story, after about a week i flip the mattress back over to the front. My youngest spills her milk on it so i took the cover off, you know because there's a zipper and thought it was washable. In the meantime i put a sheet over it and go to bed without the cover. From the time i took the cover off to wash it, it was already to late and had no idea. The cover was kind of a pain to get off so i wasn't in a hurry to put it back on. A few days go by and i have already folded lots of laundry on my bed and all put away. Then i decide to put the cover back on and later on we're watching a movie on my bed and i got a flashlight out to find something in the dark. I notice shinny things all over my kids blankets and clothes! Then noticed my bed is absolutely covered in it. Did some research and found out my bed came with fiberglass in it. Fiberglass in my closet, all over my clothes i hung up. Fiberglass on every single blanket in my house. Fiberglass on my couch and rugs. Fiber glass was on my curtains and the box spring. We threw away every piece of clothing and rugs in my house. Threw the mattress away and all of our curtains in our room. It was in the air a long time before we ever noticed it. I put winter clothes away in a bag in Feb and the clothes were covered. Fiberglass was coming out of it before i ever flipped the mattress or took the cover off. It was in every nook and cranny in my house. Our home we bulit is 5000 sq ft. So we bought a couple outfits before we threw everything away and made a safe space in the garage for clean clothes. We contacted lawyers already working on the case and we're told to take pics of everything. Its really hard to take a pic of the glass even with a flashlight. So the best thing to do is take a video while moving the light around. I've taken so many videos and just start to cry. It has been so hard cleaning it, i just wanted to demolish it and rebuild( it has taken a toll on my mental health). Also, we have been so careful not to contaminate our new clothes and blankets but they ended up still getting glass on them. We bought many tape rollers, you can get in pet section at Menards. We have a head lamp that has helped tremendously! Don't vacuum the floor right away just use the the roller because the vacuum will blow it in the air and that can be frustrating after you've already cleaned dresser 5 times before. A handheld cordless vacuum has helped a lot but wont pick up the tiny fibers. I sprayed water on a paper towel to get the tiny fibers. I had to get ladder to clean the fan and crown molding window trim. We bought a huge plastic cover from amazon for the box spring. So there's still glass on it but its concealed in the bag until we buy a new one. We took the dresser drawers out and vacuumed on the inside. I cleaned the dresser completely before i thought about doing that but I'm glad i did because the inside was completely covered with glass! I really am going to have to clean every sq of the house! It's been almost a month and I'm just now confident my room is finally clean. I'll find a few here and there but use the tape to pick it up. My kids rooms did have glass but not as bad as mine. All of their clothes in the drawers and hanging up had to be thrown away. We have thrown away thousands of dollars in material things, I know they can be replaced but somethings have memories and are special. I had to throw away hand made baby clothes my deceased Aunt made my daughter(those things cannot be replaced.) Ive also started having heart pains because of the stress from it all. From the time i wake up till i go to bed is so stressful. How long is it going to take before its completely out of our lives? I use to complain of folding laundry and now it really sucks because i have to do it with a headlamp and tape. Since i have found out about the glass, my eye has slowly started to improve with the twitching, probably bc I'm not laying my face in it anymore. My kids aren't itching anymore but i still do have eczema. Hope this helps someone and if i could go back, i would have thrown it away before ever opening it.

I've had chronic back pain for almost 10 years now (degenerative disc disease and bulging L2, 3. And 4) and tried everything. Bought a purple mattress. Returned it (it was one of the worst for my back). Bought a Casper. Returned it. Bought one of the cheap Linenspa mattresses on Amazon and even though it didn't help I dealt with it because it wasn't worse than any others and it was cheap. Then I slept over at a friend's house one night and woke up in the morning with no back pain at all. 0. I got out of bed and could stand up immediately without being all hunched over like I was 90. I asked first thing what the mattress was and jumped on Amazon and bought it. It arrived 2 days ago, no funky smell, no mold, no problems at all. I'm laying in bed now and I just sneezed. Usually this is incredibly painful and I often slide off my bed to kneel beside it just to avoid the jolt this sends through my entire body. I sneezed and braced for the pain but there was nothing. Not even a tingle. I don't know what kind of weird voodoo sorcery they're doing with this bed but it's almost surreal that when I lay in it my pain is completely gone. I can roll onto my side without the dull ache I always feel, I can lay flat on my back without struggling to stand up afterwards. It's so awesomely weird. It is a little firm for my liking but I couldn't care less. If you have back pain this mattress is absolutely 100% worth a shot. I'll never buy another mattress and it's cheap enough that if it turns out not to last very long I won't mind replacing it every few years. Worth 10x what I paid for the pain relief alone.
