There is no kind way to start this review so I'm just going to be blunt because you deserve blunt in mattress buying - it is SO important to be clear because a good/bad mattress GREATLY impacts your life! So here we go with the blunt - are you ready?! We're short, fat people. No. Really! About 100lbs overweight each. Don't judge - we have our reasons & I'm not sharing to open myself up to ridicule + with the New Year we are committed to losing! So why do you need to know we're fat, short people?! So you will know that because of our sizes we have really put this mattress through a workout since we bought it in August...and it is FABULOUS!!! I'm a side then move to back sleeper & my husband is a back sleeper & we both sleep like the dead in this bed! The bed is NOT hot, when we climb in (hello- we're short gotta climb!) we can tell there are springs, but when we lay down we don't feel them (no poking, etc.), and overall our bodies just feel well supported in a not too firm way! To think we bought this as a temporary bed - just to have since we moved 2200 miles & weren't taking our old mattress with us. We figured after we found a house to buy we'd upgrade - found the house faster than we planned & now this bed is coming from our temporary apartment to our house!!! With the outlay of so much money updating the house it's nice to not have to invest in a new bed! Just to give you a comparison - previously we had the Lucid 10" (https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00478U768/ref=oh_aui_search_detailpage?ie=UTF8&psc=1) which at the time we spent $349 on & is now priced at $287 as it should rightfully be priced less than this bed because the Lucid SUCKED! It was comfortable for about the first 6 months & then it started forming a divot in the shape of our bodies & gotta say - even when you are the person making the divot you still don't want a fat person divot in your bed! The Lucid was also REALLY hot - we would sweat on a winter's night while it was raining outside & the inside of our house was never warmed to more than 68°F! The divot also affected smoochy-smoochy time (divots are REALLY not conducive to that!). We kept the Lucid for about 18 months after we were both disgruntled with it because we knew we were moving & wanted to move small. For the last 6 months I didn't even sleep with my husband. I slept in this recliner (https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B002WGJHHW/ref=oh_aui_search_detailpage?ie=UTF8&psc=1) in the living room & got WAY better sleep in a cheapo (yet fabulous) recliner that's NOT made for fat people than I ever did in the Lucid! Bottomline - this fat lady has sung! Mattress buying is over! If we need another mattress at some point we'll be buying this one again! Already decided to buy the Queen size for our guest room & the 8" Twin for our children! I feel like Oprah - guests get a Zinus, children get a Zinus, everyone (in our family) gets a Zinus! Now that you're done reading my review - YOU go get yourself a Zinus!!!

Mattress is pretty decent. I found the king sized mattress for less than $200 and thought it was a good deal. This is guest bedroom furniture but I’ve been sleeping on it while I wait for another mattress and I’ve found it to be comfortable. It’s a bit bouncy and you’ll know it’s a spring mattress, but I’ve slept pretty well nonetheless. I will make a suggestion and say that young want a mattress topper of some sort. I laid down a simple 2 inch topper and it improved the feeling of the mattress all together, and with the right pillows even better. I’m using this on a platform bed frame and I have not had any problems. I didn’t have issues with the mattress rising, but I did leave it alone for a couple of days in a heated area. Overall, definitely not a bad mattress for it to have costed less than $200.

*this mattress sleeps like a dream. Honestly the only issue I have with it is that it only “puffed” up to 10 inches, not 12. Personally though as this was my first mattress purchase ever, I’m very happy with it, the price was great, it’s very comfy. Okay so I just got this today, haven’t slept in it, but I have to admit I’m extremely excited. 1) the instructions are pretty clear that the mattress can be violent when opening as seen in some of the other review videos but mine wasn’t at all. 2) the box had some damage from shipping but the mattress was unharmed 3) the little pamphlet on the inside said there could be a smell (as stated in some other reviews) but mine had no smell at all. 4) the springs immediately uncoiled, the memory foam took about 2 hours to puff up 5) it is a good bit shorter than my previous mattress, as seen by the length compared to my current bed frame. But when I put my mattress pad on top (which had always been a bit short on my other mattress)[lucid 3 inch lavender infused topper] I was less worried and figured my old mattress was just weirdly long (it was supplied by my building and was a horrible 6 inch plastic covered spring mattress. All in all: this is my first mattress purchase. I was worried about some of the reviews but at 21k and 4.7 rating, I figured I would chance it. This is a great choice for students. I bought mine for 230$ And it was a steal! I have really bad sciatica so I’m really looking forward to sleeping on this.

We bought this for our guest room/office remodel and so far we are really happy with it. It was packaged really well, opened up and took shape quickly and my husband tested it briefly and said it is pretty comfy as well. Way better than he or I expected a rolled up mattress in a box purchased online could be. The true test will be once we have our first overnight guests to get their solid review, but so far we are extremely pleased.

We got the 10” and waited a week with heater on at 75 degrees and it only fluffed up to a little less than 9”. It’s ok but I wish the descriptions were more accurate.

Wow is all I can say!!! First of all I was amazed at how it was packaged. Secondly, I was scared after reading the reviews how the bed would pop open when unpacking but it didn’t open abruptly it was very easy and smooth. Lastly it is very comfortable!!! I would buy another one!!! I am VERY impressed!

We needed full and twin mattresses for two small bedrooms in our cabin and decided to avoid a visit to brick and mortar stores and order these. If you’ve got kids, they’ll get a kick out of how these are rolled and vacuum wrapped. They unfurl and don’t take too long to fill out on their own. We’ve had both for several weeks and they feel soft, but provide good support and we’ve gotten many nights of comfortable sleep.

Our daughter is 9 and had a twin loft bed but wanted to upgrade to a full size bed. Ordered this mattress for her and came quickly. She thought it was hysterical that it came rolled up and in a smaller box. definitely make sure you're opening it in a larger enough area for it to expand. Super comfortable and there wasn't a bad smell whatsoever so we didn't have to wait to air it out which was nice. Great buy for the price and convenience.
