I wanted to upgrade my pop filter because I was tired of having a giant disc in front of my microphone and wanted something that wrapped around the mic more, so I found this one and upgraded it. The sound quality compared to my previous pop filter is terrible. I feel like the meshing is actually blocking the sound forcing it to travel AROUND the filter to get to the mic which is unfortunately leading to a more hollow, tinny sound. I have been podcasting for five years and it sounds now like it did way back when I first started recording in an empty room with no windscreen or pop filter and 4 feet off the microphone. Now I need to build a soundproofing box to go behind the microphone (which I have never needed before) or get a different pop filter since I already gave my old one away. ... show more

  • EXACTLY what I was looking for!
Size: U-Shape
I do music studio vocals often. My microphone has a shock mount and I was wondering if this was going to work with it. My last windscreen had a clamp that kept sliding all around and a wire that I was constantly bending and re-bending into place. This ZINGYOU PF-101 microphone pop filter has a screw clamp and a sleek flexible metal malleable but stiff goose-neck. It texturizes your breath and voice nicely through this and I slipped the goose-neck up through the twine of my shock mount and it rests perfectly in place and I rarely ever have to situate it and move it into place each time I use it. I am REALLY happy with this product; and, it looks fine on webcam too, not too big and envelopes the space around my mic evenly. I assume it is washable as, I have not had to clean mine yet. I may contact the manufacturer on how to clean it and what solvent to use. The mesh appears to be made of metal but it may be some space age material. Before I submerge it water with a little dish soap I will check with the manufacturer. The top part screws off nicely and does not seem that it will stripe its treads with regular, careful and gentle use. ... show more

  • Little Beast of a Pop Filter
Size: U-Shape
Love this pop filter. This filter gets the job done. I use a very sensitive condenser mic. (Blue Spark) So a pop filter is a must for this mic. The curvature of this pop filter works very well with this style mic. Not to mention it looks amazing as well. If your looking for a budget friendly, attractive, get the job done pop filter, try this one out. It truly made a difference. ... show more

  • Works with my Yeti
Size: Round Shape
I had some trouble putting this on so it stayed in position, but after some trial and error, it was easy to put on. The angle on the mic standing on my desk was tricky as the filter kept falling. But I got it right. Took about 8-10 minutes but I was able to tighten it and position it so it was in the correct spot and didn’t take up too much space. As far as sound, yes it helps. It is not an expensive metal and fabric mesh filter, but for my purposes of web meetings and recording videos for classes, it’s perfect (with my ring light I feel like a professional YouTube star!). It’s a nice addition to your microphone ... show more

Size: U-Shape
I am veteran with PTSD and singing is one of the things that helps me, when I can't shake my blues. I was going through a lot of microphones though! Realized I need a filter to help out. This one has been amazing got it Friday and have been using it every since. It fit my mic stand perfectly and over my microphone. A little on the small side but still a perfect fit for what I need. I love it. ... show more

  • Wraps cleanly around a Blue snowball
Size: U-Shape
This curved filter allows you to block pops from any angle in front of my snowball microphone. This is a single screen metal mesh filter. It does an excellent job of filtering pops and plosives without muddling the sound or tones. Facing into the microphone, this filter does nothing for sibilance. Talking about 20 degrees off center, most of the sibillance was cleaned up too. And because this filter is curved, you can move 20 degrees off center without moving your filter. ... show more

  • No nylon mesh lol??????
Size: U-Shape
I ordered this pop filter for vocal use with an SM57 (I didn't pay attention to the size lol, my fault, but not the reason for the review), which has pretty much no wind protection, so I could actually take advantage of the mic's quality and have it in front of my mouth, instead of to the side of my face; but the filter just didn't have the nylon mesh as seen in the close-up photo compared to all the other reviews that seem to show it with said filter, and title, making it pretty much useless in my case, since the metal mesh alone does a horrible job at blocking out wind. This is probably just some rare case with manufacturing, but bruh come on. ... show more

  • Double screen pop filter
Size: U-Shape
Very cool high quality pop filter. I bought two different mics from this company and am a fan of them given the relative wualoty vs. cost, so I decided to try the pop filter as well. It does what it's supposed to very well. The double screen design of it is very cool, and different than any other pop filters I've owned in the past. I wasn't able to do a side by side comparison yet, so I can't say for sure that the double screen makes a big difference, but am sure it can't hurt. ... show more
