I took a chance on these after reading someone else’s review and the person was totally correct - yes they come packaged squished (vacuum packed). Open the package fluff them out from the inside, then soak in water (make sure they are fully drenched) then remove drip drain and then plop them on some sort of form (My unique suggestion for good measure) and let them AIR dry. I left mine for a couple of days - and voila - perfect - as you can see from the pictures. They work as promised. So save some money and get these. The media could not be loaded. I'll be honest: I wanted to make a Doughboy reference due to the name of this, but for your sake I declined (you're welcome). I suppose there isn't too much to say except "it's good" but then that wouldn't be much of a review now then would it (don't answer that) When I say this is good what I really mean is that it's sunshine in the dead of winter: overwhelmingly simple yet refined, needed but unknown. This is the way of any generic product, yet surely it has a voice of its own? What would the pop filter say if this was its last day? Probably not the sound of gagging or sizzling because the whole reason this exists is to stop such titillating bliss to the ears (look up ASMR) This is the antithesis of a siren, it beckons you to stay home and listen to good audio, not drown in the seas of manitee crotch rot. I bought this for my Rode Podmic. The only issue I had (and it's not a big deal) was that the filter was a little difficult to put on. It's very snug on the mic. Other than that, it's been great! I've recorded with it 2 times since my purchase and it's helped tremendously.
