Other reviews complain that these use thinner foam than comparable products. You can discount the opinions of those who hear with their eyes. The foam needs to be only thick enough to stop 'plosives and no more than that. These do a great job. As foam filters get thicker, they alter the high end frequency response and directionality by interfering with the rear port. When I heard the sonic improvement, I tossed all of the thicker foam screens that were sitting on my AT mics (that had cost me a lot more than these!) The price is low enough that I have a filter for every singer who uses my microphones. For health and safety, the singer takes the filter home with him/her when the project is done. Producers like that I charge only $10 each to the project. Some individual units are a little tighter fit than others—not an issue for me. Many microphones can use this pop filter including my Groove Tubes 5sm and AKG C3000 as well as my Michael Joly modified Marshals. Highly recommended! My only complaint: Where are the 5, 10 & 25 packs? ... show more

    • Doesn’t block P pop sounds
I purchased this style popper stopper because I film my podcast and didn’t want a big circle style pop screen in front of my face. Well, it does fit my mic and it looks great. Works great on “S” and “T” and “K” sounds, but does virtually nothing to block the “P” pops... which are the worst ones. I’ve had to talk from the side of my mic to avoid it until a different pop screen arrives. I literally never write negative reviews but this thing just doesn’t do the job it’s intended to do. ... show more

The AT2020 mic is cylindrical, and these are flat. The picture of the two covers is what I thought I was ordering (like the blue one) and what it actually is (the black one). They will cover the mic, but if you do a VLOG or if others see you using these, well... look at the picture I posted of one on a Heil PR40 and you might see why it won't be in any videos. Plus, this is cheaply made and too thin. I put one on a flatter Samson mic and it was better, but still shaped like a rubber spatula. (See pic) Not worth the price at all. ... show more

I bought both the fur and foam pop filters. The fur filter is too small to even put on the AT2035, so it's completely useless. The foam filter is half the thickness of your standard pop filter, and it's shorter in height than the AT2035's leaving part of the microphone exposed. It was also packed tightly into a small bag leaving it visibly wrinkled. Total joke of a product. ... show more

For what this is meant to be it does it's job very well. At least I assume it would. My point is that this type of windscreen is meant mainly for use when outdoors and there will be wind blowing. It does protect against Splosives even when used indoors, but if you're using this mic indoors, you'd be better off getting the typical type of pop filter. This type of pop filter alters your voice ever so slightly that I decided to go ahead and pick up a pop filter from a major music store. But if you're trying to save money or don't care about the VERY slight voice change, you'd be well off with this puppy. It slides on easily and doesn't feel very cheap like some can. 5 stars all the way... ... show more

Nice, cheap alternative to a traditional pop filter. Plus I use my mic on a desktop stand so can't really use the bigger pop filter with the clamp. It's too big and the arm is too long and it falls over from it's own weight. It fits my Gauge ECM-87 Stealth Cardioid Condensor mic perfectly. Not too thin and I can tell the difference when recording in Logic Pro X compared to not having it on the mic. Plus, you get two in the package so I have a spare as well. ... show more
