I needed to fix a slow leak in the tire on my snowblower. I took the entire wheel off and submerged it in water to locate the leak and found that the seal of the valve stem to the wheel is where air was leaking. I called a local automotive supply store and found that the cost of a two pack of valve stems and a stem puller installer tool was more than this kit, so I ordered this kit and made the repair. Installation of the valve stem using a stem puller is very easy. The hardest part of the repair was breaking the seal of the tire to the wheel. For me, this kit has everything I needed for my tire repair and now I have all the tools I need for many future repairs. I don't see how you could go wrong ordering this kit. Fix the tire you have now and put the rest of the kit in your toolbox for future repairs. I found nothing wrong with the kit. The parts that I used worked fine and everything else in the kit appears to be of equal quality. If you need to make a valve stem replacement, order this kit, make the repair and move on.

I sued the valve stem puller to replace a leaky valve stem on the front tire of my riding lawn mower. Put the new stem into the hole in the tire rim from the inside. This requires that the bead of the tire is loosened from the rim and pushed away from it so your hand can access the tire rim hole from the inside. Then you pull the stem outward with the stem puller. Just thread the stem puller onto the threaded end of the stem, apply a 50:50 solution of dish detergent and water (provides lubrication), then give it a good quick pull to pop in in place. Pump up the tire and check for leaks. If you have trouble getting the tire to seal to the rim research how to refill small pneumatic tires on social media. There are a number of tips there.
