The media could not be loaded. My first impressions is that this light comes in a great travel package. It feels to be built with quality parts and doesn’t feel cheap and plastic-y. This light is incredibly bright for its size and portability, I mean really bright. Being able to run off battery is a huge plus for me with lots of my work being on the road, or just basically away from a convenient power source. I haven’t used one of the mini bowens mount softboxes but I love that they are available but also it’s great the combo pack came with an adaptor to use all my current full size softboxes. It’s very easy to use in terms of setup, powering it up, changing brightness or color temp. It had a great color temp range which is just a nice add on for such a small light, makes it much more versatile. This light has already been useful and I can’t wait to work with it more. I was able to use it right away for some senior picture sessions. Again it was hard to beat the fact it runs off battery, which lasted plenty of time, mounts easily to a light stand, and is packed up so well for travel. I was able to use it as a great fill light. I haven’t used it inside for studio work yet, but it does come with a power adapter so it will be easy and again the full size Bowen mount adaptor means I can use my current full size softboxes and equipment for this light to integrate seamlessly I am anticipating. Overall I’m very excited about this light and the whole package. Portability, brightness, adaptability - it’s a great all round light. I would be happy to recommend this light so far to any one who asked me whether I thought it was worth it, yes it is!

The media could not be loaded. It has the best weight to brightness ratio I’ve ever seen. I film in nature frequently and the fact that I can carry this in my backpack (places where cars cannot go) further than any other light that’s even remotely as strong as this one makes truly a great difference when filming at dusk or night. 25% stronger than a car high beam, this is more light than I ever thought I could haul on me, not to mention orienting myself outdoors at night is a breeze now. One press of a button and I can see 500 feet in any direction. Going to a small place to film something? Space is not an issue anymore. Gone are the days of rearranging and climbing over furniture just so I can set up my big light in a small space, always carrying an extension cord to make sure I can have power. This light, the size and weight of a small DSLR camera, battery powered and cordless can fit in a fascinating number of tight places and the fan is so quiet, I can film right next to it and not even hear it. At times I have even used it with GoPro mounts (very carefully) just so that I can put it in a place that would be unreachable otherwise. If you can run a cord to power it without a battery, it’s not even that much heavier (but it is bulkier) than an action camera. If I were a minimalist, traveling, or a very weight or space-conscious videographer, I would get this light. For what it does, I don’t think there’s currently a better one out there.

Amazing brightness for the size and weight. There are two minor issues which I have. First off all, the USB-C operation only works on Power Delivery (USB-C PD), and does not work with Apple USB-C adapters, of which I already have many. Second, the included case does not have room for storing the Bowens mount. I also wish the Bowens mount was a little sturdier, but I still need to test it with a soft box. Finally, I wish it had better color temperature accuracy at extremely low brightness. Nonetheless, there are no other lights out there which match its brightness to portability ratio.

This is the best 100w video light I ever used. Light weight, powerful, good battery life and easy to use. My only complaint is that you need the bowens mount adapter

it's ok, but the battery weight is not good, and it's not too ergonomic. update: they reached out and solve my problem, such an amazing customer service. Will buy again when i need more equipment. Update 2: so recently it fried 2 of my chargers, my Lenovo Legion Go portable gaming handheld, and some cables. The first battery I had issue with doesn't charge anymore, a second one I have only charges sometimes. When I was trying to charge it the other night, the first charger I was trying didn't do anything, so I tried another one, also nothing, then back to the first charger, also nothing, so I tried charging other stuff, both chargers stopped working, it was working earlier before I plugged them in, I used both charger for about 5 times charging the battery when it was good it worked fine, both were 100w+ charger and cables. Before I knew it had issue, I had charged my Legion Go the other night, I immediately went to check that and sure enough, it doesn't turn on anymore. I knew something went wrong, I searched online and just found out a few weeks before people already had this issue, battery not charging, it fries other electronics etc. After like 2 days, my friends asked me if I had issue with the batteries, he said it fried some of his electronics as well worth $600+, as well as his other 2 friends also had the same issue, so it's not user errors, the batteries were defective. I'm so angry since the Legion Go was a gift my friend gave me as a Christmas gift. I hope someone would file a lawsuit over this. It's not acceptable and I'm lucky it only fried my electronics and not my house, yet...

The light itself works well and is very bright for its size. The problem is that the battery stopped taking a charge after only a few (less than 5) uses. Plus, the battery causes the outlet to pop and smoke when plugged in. Scary.
