This was absolutely perfect for what I was looking for. The silver coating on the Ray-Ban logo on my glasses rubbed off. I wanted to paint it back on, so I got this because it had a 0.7 mm tip on one end. It worked perfectly! It brought it back to its original look, and since the tip was so fine it did not run over onto the side of the glasses.

Shiny Effects but Some Drawbacks This chrome marker definitely delivers when it comes to bright, mirror-like silver effects. On smooth surfaces like glass, plastic, and glossy paper, the ink goes down bold and eye-catching, almost like a liquid metal look. Having both fine and medium tips makes it versatile—I used the fine point for detailed outlines and the thicker side to fill larger sections. That said, there are a few caveats. The ink tends to smudge easily if you touch it too soon, so you really have to give it ample drying time. It also doesn’t hold up as well on porous materials like wood or fabric—the shine dulls quickly there. I also noticed that once the ink runs a bit low, the strokes lose their uniform shine and can look streaky. Bottom line: A fun and useful tool for adding chrome accents to craft projects, especially on smooth surfaces, but be prepared for longer drying times and inconsistent results on absorbent materials.

Easy to use, good ink flow control, great coverage. And I like the dual sized tips for different coverage. Glad I found a way to 'chrome' for model making! Wish we would have had this when I was a kid!! Update: A few hours in and the 1mm tip stopped flowing. Too bad, it was ideal for small details....

Well...it was a very attractive choice becuase of the chrome color and application process. I like the smaller tip option. I wanted to touch up some decals on my bike frame. The directions were terrible and it's a good thing I practiced before applying to my bike frame. There wasn't any direction on how long to let dry. I tried 12 hours. Still soft. 24hrs ok. At 1st it looks like a good fit but when you touch it the chrome dissappears to a gray. I tried wetting and wiping down a sample section. Mirror effect dissappeared to gray. Pass. Looks good if you aren't going to touch it.
