  • Works impressively well on houseflies
Style: 1 Device & 3 Cartridges
A few days ago I noticed five or six flies buzzing around the dry bar area of my basement, which is next to a long storage hallway. In that hallway I found a dead mouse, and by the time I found it, I think the flies had already reproduced. Not only is this thing quite attractive day & night, it effectively took care of the small infestation in only two days. I actually plugged it in and watched it catch a fly within minutes. And it does this with zero scent and zero noise. An excellent product that is well worth the price! ... show more

  • Omg what can I say?! I was so skeptical. This thing WORKS!
Style: 1 Device & 1 Cartridge
I know how helpful pictures are for believability, so I’ll attach one! Don’t judge me, I had no idea what these were for the first couples of weeks. So yes they overran my house for a bit. But that is no longer! We are now free from the clutches of these nasty little 💩’s. I recently moved to Florida, and never in my life had I experienced so many (what I thought were gnats - I’m still unsure what the hell they actually are 😂). For the life of me I couldn’t figure out where the swarms of these pesky little things were coming from. I am originally from up north, where the only things that resemble them that we get are fruit flies. I couldn’t figure out why they were everywhere when none of my fruit was rotten or even remotely bad. Until I did some googling and found out these little demons are called Drain Flies. They live and breed in your drain, lay eggs and come out in SWARMS. I tried every remedy to kill them off. I cleaned my drains, I poured all kinds of chemicals down there. I googled every which way to kill their eggs, catch them. Tried the whole apple cider vinegar, water and soap trick. Where the apple cider vinegar is supposed to attract them, and the surface tension of the soap is supposed to get them stuck and they sink into the water below….noooope! Nothing worked. I’d still see them flying all over the place in my peripheral vision, and to top it off I now had a nasty little vinegar cup hidden in my corner smelling like dooky. I, like every other rational person, ran to Amazon for a solution. And I found LOTS of them. My first go to was going to be that light and fan thing, where the light attracts them and the fan supposedly sucks them in to their demise. I really didn’t care which one I purchased, as long as it worked. I saw the reviews and pictures of this one and figured I’d give it a go, and if this one didn’t work, I’d try the other one I mentioned. Day 1, the first few hours, it caught absolutely nothing. And I thought “greaaat. This thing isn’t going to catch anything and I’m gong to have to deal with this pests for another few days while I wait on another order” Day 2. I woke up, not expecting to find anything, and lo and behold, there were 10-15 flies on it. My prayers had been answered! Day 3. Not going to lie, I forgot I had it plugged in Day 4. I checked again, and this is what I found. The picture attached. Absolutely gross 🤢. Don’t ask, I have no idea how all these nasty little creatures lived in my sink without my knowledge. I must just be that blissfully unaware. I thought I only had a few…clearly I was wrong I’m on like Day 10 now. I waited awhile because I wanted to make sure it continued to work before posting this review. I haven’t seen another fly / gnat besides in the trap, since Day 4, nearly a week ago. Not one. However, the trap is still lit up, and still as sticky as it was on day 1. There is a faint blue glow, it’s a pretty pleasant. It’s just like a night light. It makes 0 noise whatsoever. It’s SO easy to remove and replace the sticky pad. You pull the stick piece up out of the part that attaches into the wall, and slide a new one in. So simple, yet so effective. If you’ve had these nasty little critters flying around your home for far too long now, try it. You won’t regret it. If it doesn’t work in the first spot you put it, move it around. These things supposedly come out of the drains, yet for some reason it catches far more in my bedroom outside the bathroom. So find what works for you. Also, it turns sideways if need be. So if you have a sideways plug, you can still plug it in and swivel it so it’s face up! I hope this review helps some of you choose this, and rid your life of these nasty little buggers!! ... show more

  • Amazing!!
Style: 1 Device & 1 Cartridge
This thing is AMAZING! I always saw commercials for it on TV but kinda thought it wasn’t true. WRONG. plugged it in for less than 24 hours and already got multiple fruit flies, a moth and a spider?? Works SO WELL!! Easy to use. Just plug it in and forget about it I think I’ll buy more for other rooms in our house I didn’t even notice many fruit flies before using but we sometimes get more during summer. Excited to see how well this continues working ... show more

  • Effective fly catcher—wish the light were dimmer
Style: 1 Device & 3 Cartridges
Love this fly catcher! I was worried when flies started appearing in my garden, but since using this, I hardly see any anymore. It works so well. My only small complaint is that the blue light is a bit too bright—if it were dimmer, it would be perfect.

  • Catching gnats and drain flies like a champ!
Style: 1 Device & 1 Cartridge
Best darn purchase that I have made! I have had drain flies and fungus gnats, and this works wonderfully to trap these critters and I have also trapped a few other nefarious beasties! I give this a five star review hands-down ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Did I failed to mention that it also doubles as a nightlight! Very durable and easy to use, as well as easy to clean the cartridges! They just slide right out and you just pop another one in and you’re good to go! ... show more

  • Works for me!
Style: 1 Device & 1 Cartridge
I had tiny gnats flying around my new apartment and no matter how many I killed, they would just keep coming back. I ordered this because I wanted to try and avoid an infestation. Super easy to use since I just had to peel off the adhesive covering and plug it in. I live in a studio apartment too so I can see the light no matter where it is, but the blue light is not intrusive at all and looks great. It works well because after one day of use, there were no longer any bugs flying around. I was only dealing with one type of insect so I’m unsure of how it holds up with different types. ... show more

  • Efficient but catcher
Style: 1 Device & 1 Cartridge
This trap has been extremely effective in catching all of the pesky bugs that you can never seem to kill by hand. I installed it at night and when we woke up the next morning we already had like 10 fruit flies in the trap. It is highly effective and very sticky! I was a little concerned about the blue light being on all the time but it hasn’t been very noticeable in the kitchen where we have it. Maybe if it was in a different area it might bother some people. Highly recommend this if you’ve got a fruit fly issue like we USED TO! ... show more

  • Expensive refill work-around
Style: 1 Device & 1 Cartridge
This device works well especially when all the lights are out. I've found that during the day there are still a lot of flies around, but but the next day they've all been caught by this device. I do, however, think the refills are overpriced. I have some sticky fly-papers that are designed to hang in the windows and I was able to cut them down to the size that fit in this item - I just had to cut off the plastic tab at the bottom of the insert that comes with this and put it in the slot on the device so that the light comes on to attract the flies. ... show more
