    • Cheap imitation that does not work.
This product is a very low quality cheaply built and assembled imitation. It was delivered with the spring mechanism already partially broken before I attempted to install it on the mower. There are numerous issues with it that render it unusable and a waste of time purchasing. In no particular order, because each issue is really bad. 1. It does not work. The weak spring that is supposed to retract the extension rods back into the main control handle bar and it wouldn't retract and over extended so that the extension rod actually fell out of the handle bar. 2. The main handle bar is very narrow and just too small. I found it impossible to control the mower with this thing. The foam grip was really very soft and already torn before I even used it. 3. It seems to be made of some type of iron pipe and the paint was already peeling. I have not had it long enough to see how far that goes before the iron pipe starts rusting. Im sure it won't last until it rusts because it came out of the box half broken. 4. Upon using it, the weak spring actually broke in two. I think I may have gotten 10 minutes of use before it just broke off. 5. The clamp that attaches each end of the control bar to the lawn mower handles is too small for the diameter of my handle on my mower and it is very skinny (not wide enough for a good grip), and it does not clamp onto enough of the lawnmower circumference. With that said, during the brief time I used it before it broke, the clamp couldn't get tight enough for the control bar to stay in place to make turns on the mower. 6. There is no real connection between the bar and clamp. Just a pin aimed up vertically where the control bar slides on top. That is simply not good. Bottom line.
