This fits good and my 3 year old likes it. But I can’t even let go of her for a second or it pitches her forward and would dunk her straight in the water. Was hoping for something that I could let her self swim in while I stood nearby in the water but like I said- I can’t even let go of her for one second or she would be pushed forward. Got this for my daughter who had just turned two. She is a little small for her age, but the jacket fit her pretty well. When she was in the water, it rode up around her neck and she seemed to struggle a little bit to keep her head above water. It did the trick for the most part, and I think we'll get better use out of it when she's a little bit bigger. The strap on the back started to tear at the stitches so be mindful of this and don't grab at the handle more than is necessary unless you've got the skills to repair it. ... show more

Nicely made vest, child feels secure. Only complaint would be the second chest strap is too low and often slips off the jacket. Personally, I would like both straps moved up an inch or so, then I think the jacket would be awesome. We've had this for two swimming seasons and still works like new.
