Since I need to reverse the door to left hand opening. But the screws of door bottom swing are locked with the plate due to the manufacturer improperly installing, couldn’t be unscrewed smoothly,so the screw was broken at the end, also the plastic 3 plugs of door upside swing screws holes are all missing. I tried to cheat with the production support online many times and requested the missing parts . But so far I haven’t received any parts from them. I contacted to the production support online again, they suggested that they can send me a new whole machine and I can pick the missing parts from the new machine and return the rest part. How can I carry such a big box and go to UPS to return it? It will cost a lot more from them and give me a lot more trouble this way other than just send me the missing parts. I have plugged in, it looks cool with low noise, but the quality seems to be not that great. And the service is ridicules. ... show more

Purchased the Zephyr Brisas beverage cooler to replace an old wine cooler that failed. The adjustable shelves and dual temperature controls are very nice features that allow us to store wine on one side and other beverages on other side of the unit. Nice appearance. There are dual fans on the unit run about every 30 seconds to circulate air. One of the fans had a buzzing / humming sound though not very loud was at a pitch that was annoying because it cycled on and off so frequently. I contacted Zephyr customer support and they arranged a service call with a local appliance repair company. Service technician arrived with a replacement fan and the noise was eliminated with new fan. Tech speculated the blades may have been out of balance. I absolutely love the look. But the fans are loud, I once bought a small cheap refrigerator for my office and it was very quiet compared to this one. I called the company, because of the noise, and they got someone out fast. The service tech said it sounded like one of the two fans. It's dual zone so has one fan for each zone. The tech pointed out the fan and when it came on the noise came on. I was like wow that was easy. He ordered a new fan and put it in and it was just as load. Apparently there is no dampening on the one side so you hear the noise. It runs about 50% of the time and you can hear it from the other side of the house if its quiet. We are having a cabinet built around it with some noise dampening material. So would I buy it again, No! ... show more

I needed to replace the same brand, Zephyr, wine refrigerator that conked out after 3 years. Since my bar was custom built for that size, I was happy to locate one with exact dimensions to minimize retrofit. The box was delivered slightly open/damaged but we opened it anyway hoping for the best. The corner was dented which was disappointing but we kept it. It’s not the easiest thing to move and return. Used this to replace our old fridge and have been very happy. As long as it lasts many years, it will be perfect. A couple reasons we like it: * Prefer side by side temperature and rack system * Rack arrangement works well for fat bottles (the way we use it) * Quiet (at least for our area - which is the kitchen) * Pull out wine racks make it easy to identify bottles * Metal racks are thin and seem to allow more space between shelves than wood shelves * It arrived with no issues that people have seen with other vendors. Perfectly intact. Installed in 10 minutes * You can keep an open bottle cool in the right side area if you create a stand-up area Minor gripes * Glass racks on the right side do not really support laying things down. It feels like you will scratch the glass and the nothing keeps the bottle from rolling. Only the bottom plastic shelf is appropriate for it. * Shipping was painful. Came late. They never called to schedule the delivery so I had to call them a couple of time (woman on the phone was very nice and helpful though). Driver was a bit argumentative about where to put it. They wouldn't bring it in the house, only the garage. Note, they have another unit that goes down 4 more degrees (from 38 to 34) and has multi-color lighting. I didn't find the few degrees worth it. A few more details apparent from the picture We took out one of the glass racks and that made it very easy to have a standing bottle area on the top. It could probably handle 8 sparkling wine bottles (plus more sparkling laying down on the bottom for those you want to keep the cork touching liquid). We put in 4 sparkling bottles and about 10 bottles of Topo Chico. We set that side at 38 degrees and are perfectly happy. The glass racks do slide out a bit so you can stand up canned beverages and see the label of things behind the front row. On the left side, we put all of our whites at 50 degrees. Every bottle we tried has fit. The pull-out action on the wine racks has been good. Comes out about 1/3rd of the way so you can see the label on the two bottles that are laying with the bottom at the front. The quality and vendor stories on other units under $3000 were pretty poor so it was comforting to see the reviews on this one. There have been some comments about the door handle screws. They seem to have improved a little and it was confusing but I got it done. The manual makes it appear that you have to partially remove the door seal. Turns out you are just pushing it to the side and not removing it from the track. Once I figured that out, the door handles went on quite easily. Unit is very heavy. We used a furniture dolly and protected the unit with one of the foam panels in the box and that made it easy to transport and slide into the enclosure. It's a tight fit - maybe 1/4 inch all the way around, just like the last one we had. Our previous unit had been perfectly acceptable - lasted 7 years before starting to make a lot of noise. Main thing we wanted to improve was the rack system - the traditional style is really poor for fat bottles like sparkling. It wasn't this one but the same style (https://www.amazon.com/Kalamera-refrigerator-Freestanding-Triple-Layer-Temperature/dp/B085WRC7FS/). This meant that we had to put sparkling on the top zone and the bottom zone, meaning I needed the same temp in each zone. Our main fear replacing it was finding a unit that would arrive intact and last for many years. It has succeeded on the first item. Time will tell on the second. ... show more
