Two of the eight stools that I ordered arrived damaged. One stool was not stained on the top, and one stool was badly dented on one of the legs, possibly due to shipping and handling. I started the return process only to find out that shipping the stools back would cost a little less than the cost of purchasing new stools. Thus, I contacted the seller to ask to return one set of four stools (I purchased the set of 8, which comes in two boxes with sets of four stools in each box). I also requested that they pay shipping costs for the return. Zeny customer service representatives got back to me same-day, and they offered to, instead, send four new stools to accommodate for the two damaged ones. The customer service representatives were very kind, understanding, and gracious. It's very rare to work with customer service reps of this caliber. Even with the above, the stools are very sturdy and lovely. My husband and I are trying to blend his industrial style and my farmhouse/boho style, and these stools flawlessly meet our tastes midway with the industrial metal and the lovely farmhouse/boho wooden tops. They are not the most comfortable stools to sit on for hours, but this is typically true of any wooden or metal stools, so nothing new here. No assembly. Take out of the box and set them in place. They are sturdy and steady. They do not feel cheap. Looks great and functions very well.

We love these stools. They are an absolutely beautiful addition to our patio. I am not sure how well the wood will hold up to the Arizona summers but we plan to treat them. I am so glad I purchased these!

Excellent stools for the price. They were exactly what I needed. Of the 8, 3 had small chips or dings in the wood that I easily fixed with a wood filler crayon. One stool had a spot on the metal leg that was pokey so I flattened it with pliers. For less than $25 each, I was willing to accept those imperfections. ... show more

    • Cost effective but thin metal.
Price is good, but metal is thin and can dent easily. If you take care, you should be ok. 2 of the 8 stools arrived with small dents. Used a rubber mallet to carefully pound out and all is good.

These stools were the perfect height for our table, they're sturdy enough for our friends of many sizes and our kids, they are comfortable to have a meal outside and the fact that they stack away so neatly means we have more space!
