  • Perfect for my mail escort walking 12 miles per day.
Size: 10.5 Color: Black
I purchased these for my Husband who has the longest/largest mail route in the city consisting of a route he walks 6 days a week - 12 miles each day. The "postal" approved and provided uniform boots he gets each year are expensive and eat up more than half his allotted uniform allowance taking away from buying replacement pants/shirts that get worn out with torn pockets easily. So, he always has to decide which is needing the most replacing over the others. The P.O. boots last at most 6 months before the tread starts to fall off and/or holes appear. The Post Office provided shoes also require the dreaded breaking in, these do not. They run true to size, he wears a 10.5 and they fit great. My husband has said these fit great, are comfortable, waterproof, keep his feet warm (he's now only wearing 1 pair of socks) and no blister producing break in period! If in doubt on buying these, I can't think of a better endorsement than one coming from a walking 12 miles each day 6 days (sometimes 7) days a week man with Plantar Fibromas who also has over sublination of each foot saying these were a great purchase - then I don't know what is. We purchased these during a Christmas lightning deal for $45.00, next year he said buy two pairs (still cheaper than the P.O. provided boots). These are worth buying ourselves. A great boot at a great price. ... show more

  • So far so good
Size: 11 Color: Black/1
I bought these with some reservations, as the previous boots I had purchased from Amazon were good and wanted to buy those again. These are great winter boots! My feet stay warm without having to use wool or thermal socks. I walk anywhere from 5 to 7 miles a day in my work day. One minute I can be in a cold storage room that is 36°F working on a shipping line and 20 minutes later be in an executive office fixing their laptop. These boots are comfortable, warm, and really fit well. The other reviews mentioned the laces did not like to stay tied. I put a little bit of waterproofing wax on the tying portion and that stopped them from untying so easily. It also looks like they fixed the sharpness issue for the lace loops. These were also the first pair of boots that I have bought in this price range that came with an extra set of laces. I will be buying these again before winter is over just to have an additional pair. ... show more

  • Very Happy with my Choice
Size: 8 Color: Black/1
These boots have been great so far! I bought them to wear while I work as a seasonal helper for a package delivery company. I am on my feet in between driving throughout the day. I DO have special orthotic insoles that I use, but right out of the box these boots have been comfortable. They have kept my feet dry when stepping in slushy puddles. I have had no uncomfortable rubbing or anything. I cannot yet attest to warmth as we have only had weather in the teens so far. I was anxious buying new footwear as I have had ongoing foot pain for almost two years and have to be very careful with what I wear (even WITH my special insoles). I feel like I've won a small lottery buying these on my first try. ... show more

  • great bang for buck
Size: 10.5 Color: Black/1
I have only put them through 3 full days work here in MICHIGAN. As long as the rubber lowers dont crack from flexing ,and they remain dry I think they will be a 5 STAR item. I am impressed from unboxing to current. They came with an extra pair of laces, and appear to be worth more than I paid. Not built for the construction site, but I think they will continue to impress all who use with a bit of common sense. Yes they are warm and comfortadle in above 20 DEG F with moderate activity. Don't expect polar pac boots for ice fishing. Florida folks think 75 DEG is cold, they get a coat and the rest of us put on shorts. ... show more

  • Not Bad, Not great either
Size: 12 Color: Black/1
I had to up my review for a couple reasons noted in the comments with an * * The customer service is outstanding with this company!! 1. Yes, the toe box is a little big, but not a biggie, you can wiggle your toes and still enough room with the socks I've been wearing with them (Carhartt Thermal Wool Socks). * I added a running shoe insole to the top of the insole they have, which makes a phenomenal difference in the feel of the toe box and makes the fit feel a little more secure and snug so you don't feel like the boot is slipping. 2. Will they keep your feet warm and dry even when the temperature is -25F? - Dry, so far so good walking in Snow and puddles of water from runoff. * After wearing them in more than ankle deep snow for a while and such, haven't had an issue with wet feet at all... - Warm even when the temperature is -25F ... I very seriously doubt it ... I take my dog for a walk about a mile 3 or 4 times a day, lately in the snow. The coldest it's been is about 0 degrees F with an approximate -18F wind chill ... they're better than my moderate temperature tactical boots yes, but did they keep my feet warm and cozy ... NO ... took her out a little bit ago at +22F, in the sun and my feet still got cold, especially the toes and bottoms of my feet, with thermal wool socks ... so if you're looking for something that will keep your feet (especially toes and bottoms of your feet) warm at -25F ... these aren't going to do that trick... * After wearing them for a while in cold temperatures ( below zero Fahrenheit with an 18 to 20 below wind chill), then wearing my tactical boots out in the cold ... phenomenal difference ... they seem to keep the feet pretty warm, toes get a little cold but not so much that you feel like your toes are freezing. 3. Comfort - They're fairly comfortable, not as much as they advertise ... a lot has to do with the boot laces they use, they keep coming untied ... I typically double wrap my top lace and double tie the loop ... they still came loose. Think I'm going to make some laces out of some 550 Paracord like I have in the past so they'll stay tight on my feet. * After wearing them for a while, putting the running shoe insole in, they are much more comfortable, still not a fan of the boot laces they come with, but 550 Paracord will remedy that.. 😊 The price was really good (although shortly after I received them the price dropped over $9 👿 ** I was in total shock when I received a message from their customer service (Top Shoe) who offered a full refund or they would send me another pair or a different boot to see if I would be more satisfied with those. Upon my request to try a different boot, they sent me a mid-ankle hiking boot (looks similar to this one with a lower ankle and less insulation). I did have to do the same thing, putting in a running shoe insole to make the fit a little more snug and secure. I have to say, after making some slight adjustments (running shoe insoles and Paracord laces), I am thoroughly happy with both pairs of boots. I would imagine a lot of the 'toe box' might have to do with a persons individual foot, it might be perfect for some but need some adjustments for others. All in all, I have to say they are top notch products that appear to be well made and seem as though they'll hold up well. I've been switching back and forth between the boots depending on the weather and have actually decided that I may very well be looking into purchasing some of their other lines of boots as Spring and Summer approach. ... show more
