My 16 yr old son had this put together in 30 minutes. Instructions not the clearest but easy enough to know what goes where. Its parts are numbered and lettered for easy assembling. Very sturdy and the price was the best comparing to all the other towers we looked at . Me paying only 25.00 and this was the only one at such an affordable price . It stands just tall enough for our cat and has two cat toy balls that hang for the cats enjoyment . Our cat is particularly small like still but would be great for any size cat . Has a safety function on the back that screws to the wall for cats safety its also very soft for them to curl up on or in the two little hiding boxes on the tower. It’s not very heavy to move around when moved to the place you want to keep it once it’s all together . . This is a good cat tree for 1/3 the price of a cat tree at PetSmart. It is definitely less heavy duty then our old cat tree. Lifting the two is a huge difference. It’s not as stable, but it’s not unstable either. It will be fine with our senior cats who don’t parkor around the house. The top most cat laying level is TINY and our cats, who aren’t overweight, will definitely not fit up there unless a significant portion of themselves is hanging off. It was easy to put together. It took my husband and I about 45 minutes to put it together, and I could have done it by myself for sure but he likes that stuff too. Bonding over building a cat tree. lol It arrived quickly and the directions were fine. Some of the screw sizes are misrepresented in the inventory list, but if you count the numbers of different screws you get it’s easy to figure out which screws are which, a b or c. My cat immediately went up and started sharpening his claws on it. Kitty approved. Pictures are of my average sized Kitty on the top two perches. You can see they are pretty useless. ... show more

I have 3 cats (small, medium, and "is that a dog"). The smallest cat (pictured) can't even sit on the platforms, she can fit into the cubbies. I'm pretty sure the big guy will be able to fit on the floor, or the larger cubby, but he probably won't use it. This is definitely for kittens, not for full sized cats. The looks aren't bad. When you touch the fabric you will notice that the fabric isn't super sturdy or thick. If the big guy decides to scratch the fabric, it will be completely in shreds. The tree house does wobble. I made sure all of the screws were in and tight. I can't even figure out where it's wobbling from. Since the round platforms are too small for an average adult cat, I will probably have to make larger platforms later, and still be able to use the screws it came with. May switch out the fabric on the poles for rope eventually too. Very easy assembly, however it would have been nice if the parts letters were on the parts. There were plenty of screws, and even one left over. I would recommend it for people with kittens. For kittens its a 4, for cats its a 3. **Update: The biggest cat (13+ lbs) is in love with this cat tree. He uses it mostly as a giant scratch post, and the fabric has held well so far. He fits in 2 spots, but will squeeze himself into smaller spots to launch onto other pieces of furniture. I'd say 4 stars for cats, 5 stars for kittens now. I would still need to make bigger platforms for the top though. ... show more

Our granddaughter had this on her wish list for Christmas. We weren’t sure how sturdy it would be but when the cat tower box arrived it was packed well & quite heavy - more than we expected. While assembling it the cats were immediately very interested as though they knew it was for them. We were happy to hear back that our granddaughter was very satisfied & impressed with its looks & quality. It does look great & seems to be very sturdy, which is important. Assembly was easy, however there was a small column missing that goes in the inside of one of the houses. I was able to complete without it. The seats are all very small, definitely for smaller younger cats. The base to mid section is sturdy, the top perch is not and wobbles even with my 6 month old kitten on it. Bigger cats are curious but will not attempt to get on it as it moves when they put their paws on it. The little houses were an eye catcher for me but the cats do not go in them, the openings are not very big and they are not very spacious, especially for bigger cats. The design appears to be best suited for kittens to about year old. If the design were bigger and there was more sturdiness my rating would have been higher. ... show more

My cats Instantly knew it was for them and hopped onboard. It's only drawback is that it's only chest high to me at 5'8" so it's small. Eventually I'll get one that goes to the ceiling. But it works well enough that they can use it to comfortably look out the front window. Its' round areas can only hold a kitten. A fully adult sized cat would not be able to curl up and sleep on the top pad, so that's a bummer. It's entertaining for them and they relly enjoy having a place to scratch and sit pretty to watch the birds. I'd buy it again if i needed a cat tree. ... show more

The directions were somewhat easy to read. Eventually I just figured out which screws were which and what post was what because NOTHING was labeled like how the instructions were. Assembly took me about 20-40 minutes. It would've been less but I got stuck on the platform that goes under the last house. After building it though, it looked great! Its pretty sturdy and holds my cat just fine who weighs about 8-9 pounds and hes about 7 or 8 months old. He loves the tangling toy balls and likes to hide in the houses a lot and then come out and smack you lol! All in all, he loves it so I'm pretty proud of myself! I will say that if your cat is bigger than 10 pounds, this may be too small for them. But as I say at work, if it doesn't work out for you then you can always return it! ... show more

I absolutely love it! It’s so adorable and matches my decorum perfectly. It was easy to put together and shipped quickly. Only con I had was the fur. I’ve been finding pieces of the fur falling off and there hasn’t been a cat in the house yet. I don’t see any patches so I’m not concerned. A little worried for when the cat comes but we’ll see why happens. I can imagine if it’s falling off on its own it will definitely come off with the cat scratching at it. Can be shaken a little but seems to be good enough. There is a wall mounting screw to help with that but I didn’t use it. ... show more
