I was so undecided as well as nervous picking out a new computer. I didn't know where to start. Went to some stores, fiddled with some on display and got a feel for size, keyboard performance, speeds, layout, and whatnot. Then came to how much and what each ram and gig storage was. Googled reviews on some I narrowed down to 3 and compared everything to prices. This computer was at my price point and provided the necessary amount of everything I needed for school and work. The battery life is amazing...but it's also still new, it immediately loads and connects, Internet browsing is seamless, it's light weight and easy to carry around. The screen size isn't too big or too small, watching movies and videos with no issues. I love this computer and am so glad I purchased it. Well worth the money! The only two issues I would change but not anything I'd send back and cry about are the volume is a bit low and the charging connection. I'm not a fan of the tiny little connector as my clumsy a$$ would probably bend it and ruin it. But otherwise now I'm just super vigilant to it and have adapted to being more cautious around it. ... show more

I have had terrible luck with HP and Dell laptops in the past. I've had my Lenovo laptop for about 2.5 months and it is great: no issues, problems or concerns. I was a bit concerned when Lenovo Vantage showed that I only had 7 months of my 12 month warranty left when my laptop arrived. I immediately contacted the seller (YouthHostel) via Amazon. (I was impressed that the seller responded in about 2 hours in the middle of the night.) The seller told me to contact the manufacturer through Lenovo Vantage. All I had to do was submit a screenshot of my Amazon invoice to show when I actually received my laptop and Lenovo reset my warranty to 12 months. (I ordered a laptop with upgraded memory so as soon as the seller opened the laptop to expand the memory, the warranty clock had started; however, as soon as I proved to the manufacturer that I purchased the laptop 5 months after that action, the warranty was restored to 12 months.) ... show more

The media could not be loaded. Pros: Touchscreen-Big screen. A good laptop. Love the anti-fingerprint display and matte screen. Good ram and space for an affordable price. My HP Pavilion laptop from 2019 was to the end of its capacity in terms of RAM and SSD space. This Lenovo is very similar to the HP except it is faster and has upgraded storage space (more RAM and bigger SSD). Plus, it has the touch screen the HP was missing. Moving in has been easy. Bloatware is minimal. The keyboard layout is almost exactly the same. My basic requirements revolve around spreadsheet use, financial software, and Internet browsing. A numeric keypad is a must plus enough memory to keep a dozen or more browser tabs open. An unexpected bonus is the antiglare screen and light weight. Several reviewers mentioned that this device is initially limited to apps available at the Microsoft store. That was the case, but was easily remedied. I’ve had the laptop for 15 months. I’ve used the laptop very infrequently & it’s still in like new condition. I’ve owned this laptop exactly 15 months & randomly one day it died while plugged in. It won’t turn on again. I’ve tried disconnecting the battery. I likely have a DC power issue where it won’t charge. This piece is soldered to the motherboard therefore can’t be replaced. I’d likely need a new motherboard. Of course it’s out of warranty by only 3 months. Seems convenient that Lenovo would build it to die 3 months out of warranty. ... show more
