Really quite happy with this purchase of the EP2. Both pruning and preparing debris for disposal had always taken forever. This EP2 has cut my time down by two-thirds! PLUS, I can work without pain and damage to my arthritic hands and wrists. I can typically make 3,000 cuts in a gardening session and this is a Godsend. I tried the cheaper ones with the battery in the handle and they were not only heavy on my wrists. But, awkward as well. And it did not even last a full session. The cord on the EP2 is very flexible. With the tool harness, you don't even notice the cable is there. The safety features are very easy to activate and good. I'm very happy with the power of the cutter. Tough 1" branches dead or alive do not strain the motor or gears very much at all. They don't mention it but, it is very rapid if you pull the trigger fast between cuts. For example, cutting a 3/8" branch in 5" pieces. When you move to the the next cut rapidly, you can nearly double the cutting speed. ... show more

I am very pleased with this product. I have 18 crape myrtles to trim every year and three are trees. In the past I have used Zenport ratcheting pruners, loping shears and chainsaw to complete the task. Last year I had carpel tunnel surgery and hated the thought of using manual shears again. I didn't want a shear that would require recharging all the time in the middle of a job. This year I was able to complete the task in a day instead of several days because with this tool I was able to get in difficult places with ease. After cutting off the limb, I cut it into 2 foot or less to put into trash cans for the recycle trucks. I filled 5 trash cans and still have two green lights on the battery pack. ... show more
