The first observation I will make is that these sunglasses do not have "cats-eye" lenses. Cats-eye lenses taper to a point at the outer edges of lenses. They are called cats-eye because they resemble a cats eye. These sunglasses are what is called a "square", because the lenses are, basically, the same dimensions in terms of height and width. I didn't deduct anything in my rating because every photo of the sunglasses show clearly that they are typical squares. I got the crystal red (translucent) frames, with the black lens (in the USA , we call black lens "grey"). The clear red frames give off a nice glow when the sun hits them. The black (grey) lenses are great because they filter the light, but still retain the natural colors of the environment. I find that these sunglasses are a bit large for my face, but sunglasses are supposed to be a little larger than normal eyeglasses. These sunglasses give off a retro movie star vibe. These sunglasses are advertised to stop UVA, UVB, and UVC light. I had to look up UVC, and it turns out that the Earth naturally blocks all UVC light in the Ozone Layer. It is only generated artificially by equipment such as hospital UV sanitizing machines. Since nobody is allowed in a hospital room when it is being sanitized, there is not much use for glasses that block UVC. I think that these are a great pair sunglasses for value conscious shoppers. They do a good job of blocking glare and harmful UV rays. And they are fashionably stylish, with a modern look, and a retro vibe. I would definitely recommend them. ... show more

These are gorgeous, well made sunglasses and I so wish they had fit. I couldn’t keep them on my face though. I have very short temples and they stick out too far behind my ears. If you have a wider face and longer temple theee will do perfectly for you. They almost fit like men’s sunglasses I wish they had fit me before the lenses are good quality and substantial. Updated review: There is no good way to show the edits to a review here on Amazon, so I'll do my best to explain. I originally gave these glasses 3 stars because of the the size (see my original review below). However, the sellers went way above and beyond to make this right for me. I don't think it's pertinent to get into details, but I am VERY impressed with the prompt, friendly and tailored response to my complaint. For me, service is uber-important, and when you encounter it, especially on a monster site like Amazon, I appreciate it! I would just say that if you like a pair of this company's glasses, order them! If for some valid reason, it's not right, I have confidence that they will make it good. Original review: These are nice enough sunglasses, but I'm super-disappointed. The size is completely wrong in the listing... I have a small face, and tend to look bug-like with larger glasses (the last few years have been miserable...all Jackie-O stuff!). So the measurements are important to me. The height and width of the frames are most important. So, the height on these (top to bottom on the eye portion) is actually 57 mm, not 44 mm, as reported in the listing. They do seem well-made, and I always like a flexible hinge, so that's good. But, you can easily find this quality of sunglasses at Walmart or Walgreens for half the cost. ... show more

Love, love, love this pair of sunglasses. It has become my favorite pair. They are comfortable to wear. But the color is what makes them my favorite. The red is vibrant enough but not overwhelming. I have a square shaped face, and these were very flattering. The glasses are not heavy, so they dont leave that weird indention on the bridge of your noise. I love the look of these red sunglasses, and I really appreciate the spring hinges, but unfortunately, they are a bit too loose on my head, and I have a fairly large head. If you have a petite head, these would probably fall right off your face. I'll still wear them, though, because they're so cute! They come with a storage bag and a cleaning cloth. ... show more

These sunglasses came nicely package and protected in a box. They are pretty good quality and the red color looks really nice. I like that the legs have a durable hinge design that has a decent flex to it.. They are indeed polarized and things look crisp when you look through them. I ordered these sunglasses as I was specifically looking for women's sizes. These are advertised for women but you need a wide face to wear them. They are very wide and in addition, the lens are huge. From the advertisement, it was impossible to discern the size. I love the color and the polarized lens are good. If you have a wide forehead or face, these might work for you! I had to bend them along the ears to size them, but that is expected. Despite their size, I was able to make them fit.
