I did not find this easy to install, and it took me a little bit of time to put together, and then a little bit of sweat to install it. Admittedly, I wanted the bar to be higher than the standard which meant some stretching and using a step ladder. This was totally my choice, so not an issue with the product. Fairly easy to install, took about 15 minutes, helpful to have two people during install, one holds while the other tightens the rod, been been up about 2 weeks now with 3 kids using it with no problems. Doesn't extend like say a hotel room rod does but extends enough for us.

This is exactly what I needed for my shower. It just adds a couple of extra inches so the shower curtain doesn’t stick to me. It was kind of hard to install, only because you’re supposed to set it at the width you need first. If you do that, then you can’t fit it in without scratching the wall. If you make it just a little smaller, then one person has to hold up the sides while someone sets the screw and turns the tube to make it tight. It just really took 3 hands, and I only have 2. The install was pretty easy. And it looks great! Feel very durable too. Only it seems it’s getting loose over time and it will need to be checked once in a while (a month or so) before it gets too loose. But without any screw works, its good enough.

Quick install but do not underestimate the power of that super tiny little lock screw. It will not work without it. Otherwise quick and easy and looks really nice. We recently had out shower tiled and did not want to drill into it so this curved tension shower rod was exactly what we needed.
