We have a Husky and German Shepard mix. He’s very rough with his toys and it’s impossible finding something that’ll actually last for him. However, because he’s never had a toy like this, each layer lasted for about 2 weeks. Pretty sure if I got a second one, the layers wouldn’t survive as long. However, he loves toys that have spikes. Because of that, the ball continues to survive! It’s definitely one of his favorite balls.

So my dog had the duck tore off with in 30 minutes and the ball was tore up in about 10 minutes later. Cute though, not sure it’s worth the money.

I have a 4-year-old terrier mix who loves toys, especially balls. He is notorious for shredding anything in a day. I stopped investing in the more expensive toys because he seem to shred them just as quickly as the simpler ones. But lately, I've been really wanting to research and see if I could find him a toy that would last. I found a TikTok recommending this ball for super chewers and decided to add it to my cart. I also added a few other recommendations like a soft dragon and grey plush toys. But this ball is completely different from anything I have gotten him before. He is OBSESSED with it. He nibbles and chews and flips it in the air. He's got a ton of energy so every day I take him somewhere to run around and play. We've been bringing this toy along and he absolutely loves it. It does get dirty but I have tossed it in my washer and dryer a few times now and it's holding up fine. Took him almost 3 weeks to get through the first layer and another few days to get through the second. I think he was faster because he could feel the ball inside. He would lie down for an hour every evening and try to work through it. He was so excited to play with it every time I threw it for him. I would highly recommend this for any playful or energetic dog. The one downside is because it's so strong the squeaker is going to last a while so get used to it! :)

I got this for my dog who is an aggressive chewer. She absolutely LOVES this ball. The drawback was that the squeaker lasted about 10 minutes and stopped squeaking. It took her a few days to rip off the coverings which is great as stuffed toys usually last less than a day. I just wish that the ball had been intact and a bit sturdier so she could play with it longer. At $10 I would have preferred a toy that could have been used longer than 2.5 days. 3 stars because she loved the toy but could only play with it for a few days.

I recently adopted a 2 yo, Schnauzer-herding dog mix. In the past, I’ve had aggressive chewing dogs with the end game of getting to the squeaker, then all interest is lost. But none that totally ate the toy…..fabric, stuffing and all. I had to stop buying traditional “tough-chew” stuffed (or) unstuffed toys as she was consuming them. I took a chance and ordered one of these, double wrapped, ball toys. She loves them!! Tosses the toy in the air and catches it for hours, then she starts to chew off the first layer to a point where I throw it away, then the second layer (the same) until she gets to the naked, squeaky center. Then she gets a new one and the fun starts again. I think we’re on the 6th toy since June.

My puppy is 9mths. He loves stuffies and squeakies. I bought him this piggie at 7mth and another one at 9mth. He loves stuffies but im always concerned that he will eat the stiffing. He normally eats through his stuffies in minutes but since there is no stuffing and no large pieces to chew on he couldnt devour it. It took him 2mths to hit the inner layer before my boyfriend left it at the park. Best pet product ever!!! Will continue to buy!

The good- My dog absolutely loves this toy. We first got him the raccoon then got the pig. He was obsessed with each layer of the toy. However, the bad- he chews through the first layer so freakin quick. Second layer has taken him a little longer and then third layer (the ball) he rips off the tiny spikes so I end up having to throw it away and order a new one. The second toy was ordered 8/3 and he’s almost ripped open on the second layer already so I’ve ordered a third. I wish the toy had bulk pricing or the fabric was a little tougher.
