A new favorite and must have. I know talking about pooping and wiping is not on your Bucket List but please read on. I wasn't sure I could change how I cleaned my back door. I read the amusing reviews and decided to buy. Not convinced that I would like it. I only installed the cold water line. After a few uses I knew I liked it. I prefer pooping at home as well. My plumbing is not new so I could not use the included hot water adaptor. I bought a 5/16 compression and related fittings, soldered and installed. Having tempered water is not necessary but it is a luxury that I recommend. If you have curious children. I do recommend installing flow/shut off valves. They are cheep and will help prevent accidents and scolding your bottom. We love our bidet so much we bought one for a family member and installed it too. By the way they love theirs too. Ive included four photos. "Our hot water version and Hot Water Adaptor. Then a before and after of their cold water version". A hot water line was not available. Our bums feel clean, healthier and we are saving money on toilet paper too. An 8 pack ($10.) would last us one month. Toilet paper use is now cut in half. In less than 13 months the money saved on toilet paper will pay for the bidet. ... show more

    • Be careful of the flimsy plastic nut if you connect the hot water line at the back.
I like the concept, this is the first one I had. The quality is good however there is a small leak where the hot water line connects to the back of the accessory. It shipped with a plastic nut and I keep reaching down to tighten it just a wee bit every time I spot a very slow leak but I consistently have a 1.5 to 2 inch puddle of water on the floor after 24 hours. Every time I tighten the plastic nut a little bit more, I am concerned that it might crack. I am a professional mechanic and I wish they had shipped it with a brass nut instead of plastic. To be clear, this is the plastic nut that is at the back of the bidet accessory. The T fitting they supplied for under the sink for the hot water is good quality and all metal. If this plastic nut which is used to secure the white flexible hose from the hot water line under the bathroom sink cracks while I am away, I will come home to a flood. They did use a metal nut on the cold water inlet, and I am surprised it did not come with two brass nuts. And yes, I did use the Teflon tape that is supplied. I am not sure why it is still leaking. Maybe someone from the company will read this review and get back to me. As soon as I can have a GFCI outlet installed on the wall, I will take this off and upgrade to an intelligent toilet seat for approximately $265. ... show more

This bidet attachment is great. The temperature controls and self cleaning options are really well thought out. The construction is top-notch. Tips ------ 1. Get your own compression tee for hot water. The one that comes in the box does not have a freely-rotating threaded coupling, so tightening it moves the hot water outlet from the tee. This can be frustrating, particularly if you develop a leak. These tees are easy to find on Amazon or your local hardware store. Example: LASCO 06-9101 Angle Stop Add-A-Tee Valve, 3/8-Inch Compression Inlet X 3/8-Inch Compression Outlet X 1/4-Inch Compression Outlet, Brass 2. When preparing to use the bidet, turn the hot water to max and run the self-cleaning mode until you feel warmth. Then turn the temperature down before engaging the actual wash function. This gets you a consistent temperature once you start cleaning. If you don't do this, the temperature rise may surprise you. ... show more

Having traveled the world extensively, I’ve witnessed firsthand several cultures that embrace good hygiene through the use of bidet’s. Inspired by this healthy approach to life, I researched getting a bidet for our home. After scouring bidet alternatives from dedicated bowls to expensive toilet / bidet integrated systems to powered seats that can be added on as an accessory, none of them compare to the functionality and comfort level the Zen Bidet provides at this incredibly inexpensive price point. Two jets that target front & back cleaning work as designed! -both of these settings target your backside offset by about 1-2 inches. Cold / Warm settings -Works fairly well but slight modifications to the infuser would better control transition from cold to hot providing a wider range of “warm water”. Spray Head Rinse Functionality -This feature rinses both the spray heads and if left on for several minutes as I choose to do, rinses out the toilet bowl from any streaking. Brass / plastic connectors work fine. I had a small leak on the connector closest to the toilet after a couple of weeks use. Turns out the seals set and one more 1/4 turn was needed to seal this bad mamma up! All in all, if I had to do it over again, I wouldn’t hesitate to buy & install the Zen Bidet. ... show more
