Got these for the neighbor kid who was taking out the trash while we were away . Thought he could use em to ride “double” if that is even a thing anymore. What a let down - I was dismayed to see the diameter of these “pegs” are nothing like they were back in the day . It Used to be you could count on , and expect at least a meaty 1.5” diameter and 4” long tube stock when purchasing any run-of-the mill BMX pegs - But alas - no longer -that is an ancient times when function & form actually mattered. With these it seems the MBA degreed manufacturing and supply management types have now low cost country sourced this stuff to non-BMX riding locales and folks . The result is something that resembles a peg but only a tribute to its former self at maybe a 3/4” diameter and 3” max long with accompanying crappy welds and thread issues . Thanks . Only highlights with these is the knurling tread height and consistent application seems to have improved somehow - Plenty sticky for your tennies if you happen to get them installed and your fun-police elders don’t bust you for being unsafe riding double . I had no issues with the overall but one of the holes was not tapped correctly, luckily I had a 3/8-24 tap and was able to fix it.
