I'm a little baffled by all the five-star reviews because people are usually so picky. This is a really cute jacket... but there' a lot to forgive. First of all, the fabric. The outside is very soft and flannel-y, but the inside is quite coarse and rough. I'm not sure yet if I could wear this with short sleeves underneath. It would be better if the sleeves were lined, but they're not. Maybe the interior will feel softer after washing, but I'm not counting on it. The cut is VERY boxy, which is why this is a *jacket* and NOT a *shacket* -- there's no way you'd want to wear this as a shirt. It looks best when worn unbuttoned, kind of like a jean jacket does. And it's short, so it's best worn over a tucked-in top. The plaid matches up correctly across the front opening, but the plaid on the pockets/flaps is a free-for-all. Doesn't even come close to matching. (The pics showed the pockets as perfectly symmetrical). I haven't had the lint problem yet that other reviewers reported. But I got a light color (the pink and gray plaid). It may be worse with the darker colors. I sized down from Medium to Small based on other reviews and this was a good thing. Even the Small is very roomy. The sleeves are wide and there is extra room in the shoulders, so it can be worn over a thick-ish sweater. Another review complained about the "baggy sleeves." For reference, I'm 5'5" and 130lbs. I was on the fence about whether to keep or return the jacket. It's a little overpriced for what it is, but I finally decided to keep it. I didn’t expect to love this jacket when I bought it. I thought it would be cheap fitting and low quality looking. I was totally surprised! This is the cutest jacket well constructed and top quality fabric. It’s TTS. It keeps me warm and looks great with just about anything. I wore it with a light blue JC maxi dress with red smocking on top with red leather booties and a red wide brim fedora hat with a small red suede crossbody bag.
