This is pretty cool. A bit smaller than I expected at approx 1/24th scale but thats ok for a target audience of 5-6yr olds. The steam/smoke emitter is really unusual and works great. Accompanied by a Godzilla roar when engaged. Control on remote. Which is press on and press off, so attention to make sure feature function off is required. Setup instructions are limited to two small panels of the box, and indicate the remote to require 3 AA batteries. Which it only requires two. All batteries are included, contrary to packaging instructions! Plus there was a second rechargeable battery for the truck itself that can be used as a spare to keep the fun going! R/c functions work well. Truck will transverse different terrains but uses more power on thick carpet or grass, thus reducing battery life significantly when used on sych terraines. Battery seemed a little picky to install in truck. And will require the screw installed in order to hold battery door securely shut. Overall I'd say this item is a good gift for young kids 3-6 years. Older than that? This item might not hold their interest very long. Also of note, the cable for charging includes indicator light when charging is engaged. I got 17 minutes of play time on recharged battery.

The picture in the add Is deceiving. It’s Smaller than the picture. But I guess the size goes along with the price. We had to send the first one back. The remote control was broken and it was missing parts. The return was fast, they haven’t told me they received the broken one so hoping I dont get charged for 2. We have not used the replacement but that came quickly and I will report more when my grandson starts using it. Crossing fingers it works. It doesn’t come with instructions so hoping my son figures out where the water goes. Update: our replacement came. First time using it the drivers side front tire fell off and now it falls off every time you drive it. Asking for a refund. Don’t waste your money!!!

This is such a well designed toy. First, it comes with TWO rechargeable batteries to use in the car, pretty easy to change out when needed for uninterrupted fun. It also lights up roars like a dinosaur AND when you fill the water bottle that comes with it, it blows "smoke". It is really cool and my grandson loves it.

This is a basic R/C toy. It's easy to use and the dinosaur body, music and lights are entertaining for younger kids and annoying for adults ;) There is a port on the top of the dinosaur's head where you can add water to produce a smoky mist out of the dinosaur's mouth. The body is as durable as most R/C trucks at this price range. AAA batteries are needed for the controller. The body is rechargeable. You can remove the toy from the product box to add batteries and charge it up and then repack it prior to giving it as a gift.
