It is a soft rug that we have in the living room but it’s starting to flatten already and loosing its softness. I sweep every day because we have a German Shepard but the rug just seems like it’s getting matted already. But it does the trick for now.

I wasn’t sure what to expect in regards to cleaning, since there’s mixed reviews on that subject…so I waited a full month before reviewing. First off, I was surprised at the size when I opened the shipping box…the shrink wrapping is amazing to open and watch it expand 😂 The carpet is super soft, super fuzzy, and has a backing like a bathroom carpet. I wanted something for the hardwood flooring in my bedroom, so I placed it next to my bed, where I walk on it several times daily, and sometimes spread my yoga mat out on it. I have a pair of fuzzy slippers that are nearly identical to this carpet, so it’s a pleasure to put my feet on it first thing every morning when I wake up, especially compared to cold hardwood. It’s not slick- I’ve never slipped on it, and the carpet has never moved unless I move it. All that being said, it’s already worth what I paid for it. Because of the cleaning reviews, I didn’t want to have to wash it until I really had to. So far, I haven’t had to. Every weekend on cleaning day, I either take it outside for a good shake, or I take my tape lint-roller and roll it to pick up hair (I shed a lot), fuzz, etc., and that’s all that’s been needed. It’s fluffy and works for the temporary solution that I needed. I don’t expect it to hold up very long - it is flimsy and doesn’t have a good backing to it. But again. I only need a temporary solution to a floor problem in a temporary rental.
