The color had a hint of blue, especially if you use daylight bulbs in the house. It’s very soft - we get many compliments on that and the kids love laying on it … but it’s very thin. As others mentioned, it's thin but it's soft. It will work for what I need it to work for, which is a cheap run in my office for under my feet and a spot for the dogs to lay on. I already know it's a magnet for dog hair but I'll replace it when needed. Worth the money but don't expect an expensive rug at this price. The color is awesome though! ... show more

It's fairly cheap; you get what you pay for. I haven't tried laundering it yet -- mine is 6x9 and I can't imagine how I could cram it into a washer and not have it get ruined. Definitely will hang dry if/when I do. Meanwhile, PROS: very soft, color true to photo (mine was the dark "gray purple" which is more purple than gray and exactly what I expected), back of rug clings to carpet fairly well to help hold it in place. CONS: almost impossible to flatten creases out of it if they develop over time (they did); rug "hairs" are extremely thin and fragile (hence why I'm nervous about laundering it, though it really needs a wash at this point), fragility of rug hairs also makes me nervous to vaccuum it with anything stronger than a hand-held dust-buster. I'm afraid of pulling the entire thing to pieces. It's not for everyone, but if you want something soft and semi-plush to walk/sit/kneel on for a little decorative flair, it's good enough. ... show more
