Complete "no brainer" setting it up. Unfold the unit, unfold the legs and attach the cables to the battery and you're set. It's a little heavy, but it's has more charging power than any other portable unit I could find. It doesn't take long to charge up both rv batteries.

I ordered 2 of these 230 zamp panels and also have a small 80 watt zamp panel. They’re expensive and heavy but very good quality. They weigh about 50 lbs ea but man are they nice. They definitely put out plenty of power.

We dry camp and keep our zamp solar plugged into trailer 7/365. It keeps the batteries fully charged...sunny days, cloudy days, rain days. Zamp is the way to go. We have 3 of their solar panels....just in case. Sturdily made, easy setup, have everything you need in one package. Best, in our opinion, on the market.... ... show more

This is about as big as you could make a portable solar kit. Even in less than ideal conditions it will charge.. I had a problem with my panel and contacted Zamp customer service. I was in the middle of a trip and they were willing to work with me and go to great lengths to get it running. Got it working but not perfect so they ultimately sent an advanced replacement.
