update: 8/1/2022, still the same great tips.. UPDaTE: reordered these again and glad to see they are the same thick tips as before and not the thin ones that tear after a few uses that are being sold by some others!! these are worth buying and work well even on textured paper like screen protectors. these work perfectly for my every day ipad use that don’t involve fine print drawing and writing. they have reduced the annoying tapping sound made worse when i have a migraine by about 90% so am happy with these for sure.. So far i have had no issues with them, no lags/etc. except when i first put tip cover on and don’t push them on tightly enough. as long as you push them snugly onto tip, they will work great with 2nd gen apple pencil.. i don’t have a glass screen protection on my ipad pro though so i don’t know if these work just as good with one on or not..

I use these nib covers for taking notes on my iPad Pro as an alternative to a matte screen protector, and they work well. They add just the right amount of friction to the screen, making writing and note-taking easier. Although each nib cover tends to wear out and develop holes fairly quickly, the price makes it a reasonable trade-off.

These little nibs are great.. unless you need to write notes very quickly. They slightly stick to the screen, making quick handwriting very messy and sometimes cause the screen to not sense the pencil tip as easily. It silences the loud tapping sound of the apple pencil against the screen, and it does feel nice writing slowly, though it is very difficult to sketch or to write with any quick strokes. They do look very cute though, they just don't work for my exact uses.

If you're thinking about buying these- go for it! I didn't want to put a paper-like screen protector on my iPad, since they can easily destroy the tip of the Apple pencil, so I decided to try these out. I'm so glad I did, they slip onto the tip easily and don't fall off, and they makes drawing and writing against the glass screen so much more pleasant and enjoyable, they give just the right amount of resistance I was looking for.

If you just write or use this as a general stylus, it will probably be fine, but I use my Apple Pencil for art. I was hoping this tip could help prolong the life of my actual tip and look cute at the same time, but no. it dulls the sensitivity so much that when using procreate and clip studio, it barely ever actually pics up the strokes make while using the silicone cap - it makes it unusable. If you just want something cute and don't heavily use your Apple Pencil, maybe? But if you actually want it to work and be responsive- definitely skip.

The media could not be loaded. My hubby has been using an Apple Pencil for years. The "tap tap tap" has been driving me crazy. Well, I got an Apple Pencil and was looking at accessories when I ran across this item. I figured what the heck. Let me just say that these are AWESOME!!! My hubby and I both have been using them for almost three weeks and are in love. Just the other day, he told me this was the best purchase for 2019!!! No more tapping noise. They don't block the pencil from working. They are just perfect!!! You will NOT be sorry you ordered these!

I don't understand what the problem people are having? 🤔 These tips are great I don't think I'll ever be using the extra they gave me but I'm glad I have them in case. I've been using it for the past 5 days and I've been really liking it, it has smooth writing and it feels like a gel pen when writing note in Onenote. ( I also have a tempered glass screen protector installed) The hard tip on the Pencil by itself just feels unnatural while writing with the iPad so the tip cover solves that issue for me. As you can so I been using it for the past five days in a row and seen absolutely no wear on it. So I think it's been a great purchase for me I recommend it :)
