This rug comes vfolded and vaccuum sealed, so it takes up much less space than you would expect when it arrives. The foam padding it uses is very soft, especially when combined with the shag on top. I also had to be a little rough with it when trying to get it under some heavy furniture, but the shag held up very well and didn't tear out at all. I wouldn't reccoment pulling too hard though: the foam underside fells like it would tear first. Considering the price relative to other 9x12 rugs which are usually 3-4 times the cost, I am super pleasantly surprised with what I received. The only reason I knocked off a star was because the rug was actually slightly larger than stated. While that was not a problem for me personally, it was cutting it close, and I know how important it is to get dimensions right for certain applications. If this rug starts having any sort of issues, I'll come back and update the review. If it's been a while and I haven't updated, you can probably assume that it hasn't disintigrated or anything :) ... show more

Well, you get what you pay for! I bought this in the 9x12 size for my bedroom and it’s thinner and less heavy than I thought it was going to be, but then again, it wasn’t very expensive. It’s very soft, which is nice, just not real plush. When it wears out, I’ll probably buy another!

Love the color and the size. The kids love to roll around on it, but it is very thin and slippery to walk on the top because it is so soft. It’s not very non slip.
