Item is as described. Pretty bright. Cord length allows a good spacing between lights to get the lights positioned where needed. No issues so far. As described, they are not dusk to dawn. I’m extremely pleased with my purchase after taking a chance and buying four of these lights at once. The lights are durable — made of solid, coated metal — and so far they’ve been waterproof. There isn't any loose parts or bad seals. The power cord does come pre-installed, no need for wiring anything together. As an option, you can loosen a bolt at the location the cord enters the light to pull the cord out and rewire the light if need be. You also have options of a yard spike, (made of plastic), for planting the light in the dirt or a metal plate for mounting the light to a wall. I went with the yard spike since I needed the light placed in my front yard. So, I realized recently that I was doing something wrong. When you fly a flag overnight you are to have it well-lit throughout the night. That got me looking around here on Amazon for an inexpensive but durable outdoor light that could be used to light up our flag pole. This LED light is working well for that need. It is a natural light color, I didn't want the standard bright blue light that is typical from LEDs. The natural light looks so much better on the flag. After extended use the light does not get too hot to touch. It is cool enough to handle after being on for a couple of hours. I have this light coming on via a timer. You cannot dim the brightness level, per the description, but the light does work on a timer just fine. If this light changes in function or performance in any way I will update this review. If you are reading this without any editing then the light is working as I have stated above. Should you have a question about any of the described information then feel free to contact me. I usually respond to questions within 24 hours. I highly recommend these lights, folks. I’m ordering another set to go in the back of my house.
