I was so excited by the rainbow colors I didn't pay that much attention to this being specified it was for kittens - and it apparently REALLY means *kittens*. Like not 6/mo kittens, but *baby, BABY* kittens. I have a foster right now who is about 4-5 months old and his grip is too strong, it snapped one of the plastic poles. My bigger cat would destroy these in an instant. They are cute and colorful - but you get what you pay for.

First, one of the rope lines from the pole arrived broken. One of the poles has two rope lines attached and one of the ropes looked torn or broken. They're attached with knots, so I just untied the previous knot, tied the broken rope on, then reattached them both to the pole with another knot. It seems to be holding together well with both of my kitties playing with them. The pole with the two ropes has hooks on the ends with options of different toys to attach. This makes it easy and fun to try different toys with our cats to see which they like more. The little fuzzy worm toys (with the little googly eyes) are fun for the cats. I purchased one of these years ago at a gas station as a toy for my then toddler daughter, but it was my cat at the time who ended up loving it and playing with it all of the time (we called it his baby). My two new cats like these, too. The rainbow ribbon has a good weight to it where it's easy to fling and pull back for the cats to chase. I've had other ribbon toys that are too light and don't work well for this.

Initially these were a GREAT ASSORTMENT, something liked by all of the cats, even the ones that don't typically "play". Good for finding out what type you cat is most attracted to, however, these are not very sturdy or durable. 1 of the wands broke within hours as it was thinner plastic, the fishing rod is worse for wear with all of the attachments/ fascinators for that and includes a replacement string, but it's the rod part that is loose and bent now. I don't expect it it last for many more sessions, especially with the ones that grab it with their claws and hold on. There's a LOT of options and FUN, but I wish the set would last longer than a month (with 4 cats). Great option to find out what you cat likes and buying a better quality toy of that type.

Our kittens love the toys, especially the ones that someone has to hold the stick for. They even play with those when they are put away, they find them in the box and take them out. We have to be careful not to trip on them in the morning! They take the smaller ones all over the house. I find the ones with feathers everywhere. The variety of toys here keeps our kittens happy!

The media could not be loaded. This pack makes one small cat sound like a herd of buffalo. She was asleep when it arrived, somehow knew we were unboxing toys for her and bolted out of the bedroom She LOVES these things! Her favs are the pink fish, multi-colored ribbon and butterfly. The telescopic pole makes it super easy to stash away. The rest of the kit can easily be gathered up and stored. Not sure how long everything will last as our cat goes from sweet, calm, purring kitty to rabid whirlwind tornado clawed beast in seconds around any of these toys Time will tell but for now, these rock and kitty loves 'em
