So far so good. I only did one terminal crimp just to try it out. I was pleased with the end result. I just returned a manual tool that I was not pleased with at all. I was using cheap connectors but the manual tool squeezed out excess terminal material instead of incorporating it into the crimp. This hydraulic tool seems to crimp nice and even around all sides. I am most certain that I had to go 1 size smaller on the die. When finished I screwed the terminal to the work bench and pulled the cable with all my strength and it never loosened any. As of right now I am pleased with the tool.

As others have said, you really need to go down a die size. Kind of annoying because it causes the connectors to kind of flare out with extra material. I do think it’s a good crimp but obviously not the very highest. For its price it’s probably well worth it. It does come with an extra o ring or two so that’s good. I wonder how long it will last. I will keep it in the case it came in. Make sure you read the stamps on the dies correctly. There are like three numbering conventions

I have been using this little thing to do a lot of crimping on battery cables and it works fantastic. It comes in a pretty nice little case and makes things pretty easy when you have to do a quick crimp job out in the field.

Update: I’m changing my review as the manufacturer reached out to me and replaced the malfunctioning unit. The new unit functions as expected. The customer service alone will have me coming back for other products from this vendor in the future. Hydraulic wouldn't hold pressure and made it unusable.
