I have two teenagers who are active in school clubs. I got the button maker because I thought it would be fun and I was right. Everything you need to get started is in this box including a circle cutter. It's not the best, you're going to need to use some type of thick cutting mat. It will cut out a perfect circle that you can then use to make your buttons. Make sure you leave about a quarter of an inch around your design. The instructions are pretty easy. There is a bit of a learning curve figuring out how to put the backing piece with the pin and so it lines up with the button. I have a second button maker so it is easy going now. You get the buttons the button backs and paper if you want to write on it and the Mylar plastic sheets that will cover the button and keep the paper productive. Overall I was really happy with this little machine, it's identical to another button maker I already have but this one is a really cool fun lime green. I got this for my daughter as she is an athletic trainer at school and wants to make spirit buttons for the various sports teams. The price is great for what you get. I would highly recommend picking this up if you have a group activity and would like some fun buttons made.

A bit quirky when it comes to successful badge making... But amazing when it works! I figured out with mine that the paper size cannot be the full, sut out . I can only get them to work when the plastic top is the only part going around the edges. So, the paper they provide, for instance, rarely works causing the bottom to not seal at all. I've made 30 or so now by just using a smaller image centered on the button face. Would still recommend for an affordable option for the casual button Maker.

$29.99 when ordered. $30.99 now. This is identical to another button machine set that I recently reviewed. It has the same design except it's a separate color. The same everything. The instructions are easy to follow. The size is standard. It's easy to use and fun. It's very well made quality-wise. It's considerably cheaper than the other one financially. I have nothing negative to say about it. It worked well and was very easy to use. The finished products look professional and very nice.
