I set this up in my library room to have a sort of cute daybed for lounging. It fit my twin mattress perfectly but I don't know if I would put a XL mattress on it. Assembly took me a bit longer than anticipated, but I do recommend using your own tools because it is a lot of screws. It looks quite nice, especially once put together and it's light enough because you don't have to use the box spring that you can push or pull it to wherever you need it. It does feel a little loose so I might have to go back and tighten things up again, it seems pretty durable though and I like that there's enough room under the bed that I can store some boxes.

I set this up in a small guest room, and it works well as both a bed and a couch-style seating spot. The twin size is practical without taking over the whole room, and the black metal frame has a simple look that goes with most decor. I also like the headboard and side rails since they make it feel more finished than a plain metal bed frame. The frame seems sturdy once assembled, and the steel slats are nice because you do not need a box spring. The under-bed clearance is really useful too. I was able to slide a couple storage bins underneath, which helps a lot in a smaller room. The anti-slip design is another good detail since it helps keep the mattress from shifting around. Assembly still takes a little time, even if the instructions are decent, so I would not call it instant setup. But overall, this feels like a solid choice for a guest room, teen room, or office that doubles as a sleeping space.

The media could not be loaded. This daybed is affordable, adorable, and functional. It goes together easily, though a couple connections move around a bit despite being tightened as much as I dare (don't want to strip the screws). It came with all the necessary tools to assemble it, but I prefer a faster method so I used my own tools. The bed size is generous, fitting a deep mattress. A twin XL might be tight but would probably fit. There's ample room underneath to store bins or other items. At first I thought a trundle bed would work, but there's a center leg for stability, so that wouldn't work. All in all, I recommend this bed. It's versatile in a bedroom or living space. It's lightweight so it moves easily on carpet or a rug, and it could disassemble and reassemble to be used or stored depending on the needs of each season of life.

This was my first time putting together a daybed. All of the pieces came properly labeled with detailed image instructions making them easy to follow. The frame and fasteners are all sturdy metal and feel like they will last a very long time. I didn't have any issues with pieces coming bent or damaged. The bed frame looks sleek and simple exactly as it does in the listing photos and fits a twin mattress perfectly. I purchased a foam mattress in a box too use with mine and the bed is very comfortable to sleep on. I have no complaints about this bed frame. I'm so glad I was able to request it.
