I bought this foil to do nail art with and it definitely delivered! It’s very lightweight and easy to pull apart. The containers are large and I don’t see myself running out of foil for a long time. The color is just like the picture. There are a couple bits in the copper color that are slightly darker, but honestly I think it looks cool and it can easily be picked out. Overall easy to work with and yields a beautiful end result! :) (I used the gold in the picture)

There are so many uses for this in art, there is nowhere to start! It works great in resin when you stir it in, and it can easily be applied with an appropriate adhesive to just about any surface. It is pretty when applied either lightly, or heavily on small objects. It is very light, as gold foil, so it does scatter if you have any air movement, keep that in mind so you avoid waste and clean up. If you use white glue the shine will return when the glue dries clear, modge podge is another option. This will add quite a flair to paint pouring projects, either on top of your finished pour, or blended with highly translucent acrylic paint. You get a lot in each bottle, not by weight, but by volume. A little goes a long way. Have fun with new ideas, trying something new can be a challenge, but it can also be an amazing experience, go for it, this will add to a fun project every time.

I would have given this product a 5 star review if it had come with instructions. I know you may be thinking "How hard is it to use foil flakes?" This is my first foil flake purchase and I had no idea what ratio of flakes to resin or other media I was supposed to use. It would have also been helpful to know that you may have to separate the flakes because they sometimes come clumped together. The flakes that I've seen at the art stores were small and already separated. On the positive side, I made tons of projects just using the residue that was on top of the lids when I opened the jars. They come in 3 five gram jars (0.17637 ounces per jar) of gold, silver, and copper that stand somewhere around 2.5 inches tall. The effect was pleasing, the flakes did not interfere with the curing process or cloud the resin. Overall, this is a good buy and a little goes a long way but don't forget to unclump it before use and read your media instructions if it is an add-in (especially resin). Manufacturer: Please add directions and possible examples of usage for us newbies, Thanks!

Absolutely love these. I have been using these for nearly two years and I still have left. They hold so much in them. They are easy to work with works best when using tweezers to get it the pieces. They are easy to use. I would recommend for sure.
