I have a glass wolf cooktop and people tend to want to use it as a counter, so I went on the hunt for something to protect the glass when not cooking. I ordered the 36x21 and it covers my glass and frame perfectly, allowing my pop-up vent to work when needed. The mat came folded but when put on the glass top it does not really have wrinkles like other products I read about. Very flexible and thick enough not to damage the glass if anything is set on top. Product care says you can wash in the dishwasher (top rack) when needed or hand wash. I love it so much that I'm buying an extra one for backup to use on my countertop with small appliances.

So… someone turned on the stove and placed a pot on the stove. They didn’t see the mat. When I noticed the red stove light signal was on, I immediately started pulling everything off the mat and here’s what I found: mat was rising up in that hot area. It looked warped and out of shape. It was hot. They eye was on high heat. I thought for sure it was ruined but it went back to its original shape and you can’t see where it happened at all. I am amazed! I love this cover for the stove! To the persons defense, I keep it flipped over with nubs down because it’s easier to clean so it is harder to see probably. brighter colors recommended for anyone who might not see black mat on black top.

BEWARE this WILL catch on fire if the stove is accidentally turned on. Apparently somehow one of my cats was able to turn the stove on while my boyfriend was upstairs and I was not home. He came down to the whole house full of smoke and the mat on fire. We have had it for 6 months with no issues and it worked great, but just want to warn people to be careful! If we had not been home, our house could have burned down. Rating 4 stars because it does what it is supposed to and we liked it before this occurred. Just want people to be careful

I absolutely love this stove mat. The beige color blends so well with my counter tops. It is contrasting with my black appliances and this brightened the area up. I just roll it up and place out of the way when need to. Easy peasey.
