I like how the guards look. They definitely enhance the looks of my stove and do the job stopping crumbs and grease splatters from going down the side. I don't like how they don't fit snugly, but that might be different for each stove. I also don't like the adhesive provided to keep the connection together. The video showed a clip to snap on, which I think would hold it better, but for some reason, I received adhesive tags to apply. The guards are not flimsy. They are well made and sturdy.

I needed a gap filler for my stove and counter top. My stove is a regular stove not a drop in or slide in. These were a good choice. They are strong made of stainless steel and a nice thickness to them. They fit perfectly in where they needed to be. My stove edge rises slightly above the counter and these were perfect. They look great as my stove also is stainless steel it adds some character to the butcher block countertop. They wipe down well and are resistant to the heat. They also come with a small sticker for each side to hold them stationery, I did not use it because I like to clean everything so I would remove them for that purpose. Highly recommend.
