I purchased this for the most uncomfortable twin bed on the planet. I unpacked the pad, placed it on the bed, and set an alarm for when it should be ready to sleep on. I was so tired that all I remember doing was crawling into bed and pulling the covers over me. I am a side sleeper, yet when I woke up I was on my back with the covers up under my chin. Bought this for an RV bed because I couldn't find anything comparable that came in RV sizes. Had to cut a few inches off to make it fit. No problems doing that and the couple who slept on it thought it was quite comfortable, so I bought a queen size for another RV bed (note this product apparently doesn't come in RV queen sizes either). Had to cut a few inches off the bottom of the queen to make it fit but again no problems with that. I plan on buying another in the near future for another RV bed.

my mattress is way too hard so I got this just to hope for a little help until I can get a higher quality (higher priced) topper. Its still a bit too hard but it has definitely made a bit of a difference. haven't noticed any falling apart or anything. But you can definitely tell that it's the price that it is.
