My young kids have been recently getting into card games, especially Uno, so I purchased these neat little holders to help them view and handle their cards a little easier as they learn to play these games and develop better coordination with their hands.     • One of the Holders Fell Apart Upon First Use

Great idea, but not the best quality. I bought these for our six year old granddaughter so that I could start teaching her various card games. Her hands aren't ready to be able to hold on to a handful of cards. Most games require at least 7 card to start with, and that's not easy for youngsters. She actually did better than I did at adapting the holder and organizing cards. I was trying to do that same to try the holders out and how her how I organize cards by suit and number. The first time I attempted to use one of the holders it came apart with the inner spring bouncing off onto the floor. I was eventually able to find it and carefully put it back together, but I wasn't impressed with the quality. If an adult can inadvertently break the holder, what chance do they have standing up to kids' use? This seems to be a cheap take on a worthy solution. If our granddaughter reports issues while using the holders, I will update the review. Definitely not for children under age 6, I would say. ... show more

I don't have much to say. These have a simple but effective design. They'll come apart if you pull on them very hard but they're more than sufficient to fan out 20+ cards which will handle just about any game you might play. If you manage to pull them apart somehow it's easy to put them back together (assuming you can find the spring). Due to the way they're shaped they're not prone to tipping over. These are so simple and easy to use. It’s just a spring holding the 2 sides together like a clam. They have just enough grip to hold the cards securely in place while still allowing easy sliding movements to adjust, add, or removing a card. Works great for kids who might not be able to hold cards fanned out while playing a game yet. This allows them the freedom to feel “grown up”.
