Only time will tell how long it will last but out of the box it works great. One of the contacts was a little short and i had to file down my battery terminal to get it to bolt on.

More expensive than the super cheap batteries, but I've tried one of those and it only lasted a couple of months. This is about half the cost of the Yusa and seems to be holding up just as well. Arrived intact and charged ready to go, fitted it and only then realised how tired the old battery was (despite testing OK-ish) - the bike now spins over nice and fast, and starts straight away. Time will tell how long it lasts but so far so good

I guess it is a good thing it has a clear lid. It makes it very easy to see the white crystalized stuff in the top of the battery. Not sure if this is what the high end battery chargers are calling Sulfate. The high end battery chargers supposedly remove this type of material after charging the battery. I am pretty confident that a brand new battery is not supposed to come with the sulfate already in the battery. No need to connect the battery. I can already tell you it is junk. I bought one of these last year some time from Amazon. Obviously it did not make it a year ... show more
