    • Pros and cons got me on the fence about keeping

So today is the last day before my return window closes and I am on the fence about keeping them. Straight up there are features I really like. But there are two major downsides that cause me to think twice. I have been wearing them everyday since the day I received them, for hours a day, in multiple scenarios : work, workout, yard work, housework, etc. Especially as I really wanted to give them a fair chance. Right from the get go just a few hours in they began hurting my ears. So I did what I usually do with other like-headphones: I turned them around. At first when I did this they seemed to be unidirectional but after a few times they became bidirectional and it really helps with the longevity of wearability, esp if I keep flipping all day on long days. But still nothing like my old headphones that I have had for years and paid $50 for, which have outlasted multiple other pairs. With my old ones I can go 8 hours before feeling the need to flip em around due to discomfort. But staying on the longevity side what I do love about them is the battery, which I can go three to four long days of wear without needing to recharge. Love love love that!! Esp when needing to run out of the house and didn’t have time to charge my headphones. Plus’s the ease of connecting to WiFi! Love!! Instead of having to go into systems and go thru the whole manual routine of connecting, these you just press the button and the screen pops up to connect! Plus they do let you know when you have a potential important message, whether text, email or fb and asks if you want it read. Then it seems to have smart capability to filter according to your interests. Even not to interrupt you again if you say no. One of the biggest drawbacks, though, esp when working in the heat, like yard work or cleaning out garage, is they cause my ears to sweat. And I’m typically not a sweater! Hate that! And they really sweat! They are attractive and I got the “pink,” which as some have said don’t look pink, except in certain lighting. Which honestly after using fur a month I do think of these as my “pink” headphones. If the ear cuff piece wasn’t so small they’d be perfect! Sound quality and all that is good but I’m not an expert on that, as I’m typically listening to audio books or podcasts and not necessarily music. And they did come in a really nice packaging. But so today I’m opting to wear my old headphones, which are finally, after ten years, starting to lose their charge-ability, but so that’ll be the test of whether I just need to look for another version of those or decide to keep the Beats Solo. Love these headphones. They are great quality both in sound and sturdiness. They are the perfect size for my kids. They fold up and come with a carrying case that includes a cord so these can be both cordless and corded which is great for use on an airplane. The Bluetooth is easy to setup.

I’ve had these Beats Solo4 headphones for quite some time and really love them. I’m glad they come with AppleCare+ for 2 years, after a few sweaty workouts, they stopped working but were replaced with no issues, which gives me peace of mind. They are quite easy to connect to an iPhone via Bluetooth. They’re a little snug, so my ears get tired after long listening sessions, but the audio quality is excellent. While they don’t have active noise cancellation, the bass is solid, and they block out enough background noise without disturbing people around me.
