When you exit the chair, the chair seat rises. When seated at the counter it is natural to rotate away from the counter to exit the chair. Then the chair rises and catches under the counter. Must slide the chair back from the counter to exit, rather than rotating. If a hydraulic lift was used like a office chair it would not compress when seated and spring up when you exit. ... show more

It only took 5 minutes to fully assemble. The spring loaded position arm is extremely powerful. My one year old son was sitting on the chair and my accidentally kicked the release arm and there my son went, flying out of the chair and out the window of out twenty eight story high rise. Lucky there was convertible parked on the street. As soon as little Jamal hit the roof of the car he bounced back up. But I was cold and I closed the window so Jamal had to spend the night on the streets. Lucky he had his lovely bar stool. ... show more

They were easy to put together!! I wish they came in 3 sets!! Will be purchasing a 3rd I hope the seller consider my input. They are pretty comfortable and sturdy on wooden floors and they don’t scratch from what I have noticed big plus!!!
