I did not expect this non-fan version vertical cooling stand to perform as well as it does! Snaps right on, firmly, but, not so tight that it can't be removed quickly if needed. It fits one side of the PS4 Pro only and raises the Blu-Ray disk slot to the top where it is easiest to access. In using it for a few hours where it would get very hot in its horizontal position before using this stand, it runs much cooler under the same conditions in its vertical position now. You can feel the air flow and due to the PS4 being in a better position for air circulation, my PS4 Pro only gets mildly warm now. The difference is very obvious. This stand has soft rubber feet and stay put, even on the shiny high-gloss polyurethane desktop I use it on. Under $9 and works perfectly! 5 stars for sure!

After recently getting a new TV and surround sound system for proper 4K gaming, I ran into a space issue. With an extra long center sound bar and no easy way to wall mount it, I had less space for my consoles. As of now, on the top of my furniture unit, I have the center sound bar, cable box, Xbox One S, PlayStation 4 Pro (PS4 Pro), and Nintendo Switch. The Switch in its dock fits neatly behind the sound bar, while the oversized cable box sits in its only available orientation, horizontal. That left me to stack my Xbox One S on top of my PS4 Pro. Unfortunately, doing this type of stacking seemed to cause the PS4 Pro to overheat; the center top of its case appears to be a heat transfer point. With the Xbox One S on top, there was no way for this heat to naturally dissipate and/or stay under control. The solution was to place both of those consoles in a vertical position. The Younik PS4 Pro Vertical Stand is a simple stand that encloses the bottom of its console. It's a little bigger than its Xbox One S counterpart, but then the PS4 Pro is slightly larger and has an angled shape that requires a different type of accommodation. Regardless, it too is effective with a reasonable low price to match. It's hard to muster much enthusiasm for products that are so simple, but it would be disingenuous to ignore the fact that they solve a very real problem without breaking the bank. You can pay a lot more for other vertical stands that are frankly over-engineered.

It does what it says, it's a vertical stand for your PS4 Pro with mini feet to prevent slippage. 4/5 Stars only because the groves that the PS4 Pro sit on don't really hold it in place tightly or lock. The PS4 simply sits on-top of the groves.

Because of the shape of the PS4 Pro the stand only holds the system in one direction. I would of liked the PS4 to be facing the opposite direction but it's fine. It feels more secure than just sitting it on it's side with out it.

My purchase of the PS4 vertical stand by Younik was due to seeing video reviews on YouTube. I recently purchased a used PS4 Pro and was experiencing over heating. This vertical stand is a small price to help extend the life of my PS4. It snaps on really easy. Since install I've had no over heating issues. Still playing the same gamed too. If you've experienced this issue. I do recommend this affordable attachment.
