This Youngever 2-pack set of food containers is pretty impressive! First, these are probably the largest food storage containers I have ever owned. I ordered the 2.5 gallon containers, and I can honestly say that they will be up to the task of holding pretty much anything that will fit inside of them. It is one thing to have a container big enough to hold food (and such), but if the container plastic is not sturdy, and the lid is not secure, it may be an accident waiting to happen. The plastic material for the containers and the lids are thick and heavy-duty, and the lids fit very securely onto the containers. They are 15” x 11” x 5”, freezer & dishwasher safe (Top Rack), BPA-free and contain NO LEAD. They are also safe for microwave, but I choose never to put plastic containers into a microwave oven, so that is a non-issue for me. They are not leak-proof, but I plan to use them to transport salads, homemade cookies and perhaps even a couple of pies in one of them. There are just so many ways to use these, which is good, because I am convinced that these two containers will be around for a very long time! FIVE stars! ... show more

These are quite large and will fit lots of leftovers! They seal nicely. You do have to work your way around each side to get it to seal tightly whereas with some other containers I can just put pressure on the 4 corners at the same time for a seal. Here, I had to guide my fingers along each side. But I don’t think that’s a big deal and I really like these! I’d prefer the sides not be so darkly-tinted, so you can more easily see what’s inside. That may be preferred if they’re used for shelf-storage but for inside a refrigerator I’d prefer a non-tinted plastic. These seem like a decent deal at $15 each considering their size and quality. I also like that they’re BPA-free. I’d recommend. ... show more
