Mission 7: The Unbreakable Code is a middle grade spy adventure about code breaking, betrayal, and high stakes truths. I have been reading the Young Recruits series with my pre-teen son, and this one really grabbed him. Adam Walker and his team waking up in that abandoned facility after the hijacked flight was intense right away. i liked how Project Scythe slowly becomes this bigger threat behind everything. The author’s style is clear and direct, which made it very easy for him to follow all the tech and mission details. The story balances action with teamwork and trust, that's great. What to improve ? Maybe just a few twists felt a bit fast and I wanted more explanation. Oh, a special mention to the cover : it looked super cool !!! That's actually why my son initially wanted the series ! ... show more
