I really like the design of these pillows. Their shape works well for side sleepers. The cover appears to be made of a cooling material. The only drawback is that the pillows are a little too soft for me - I would prefer something a little firmer. That said, the pillows are well constructed.

These pillows arrived in a tiny bag and then literally “inflated” as I punched them and thwacked them a bit. (I only did with the directions told me to do). The outside of the pillow seems a little slick to the touch, and I didn’t think that would matter to me, except for the fact that when I put the pillowcases on – I only used a regular standard pillowcase on the one I slept with - it sort of slid around on that slick surface and the pillow ended up working itself halfway out of the pillowcase overnight. It still seems a little bit lumpy, but overall, it felt very comfortable on my neck. Perhaps the lumps will continue to themselves work out. I have a lot of neck pain with my arthritis, and many mornings I wake up with a fair degree of discomfort; that did not occur this morning, thankfully. It is wot a try. Maybe you’ll have better luck if you use the right kind of pillowcases! ... show more

This is a nice set of two pillows designed for side sleepers. I like the idea of sculpted or shaped pillows designed to meet the needs of particular sleepers. These pillows are definitely unique! This set of two pillows comes rolled up and vacuum sealed in a zipper pouch. After freeing them from their bonds, it doesn't take long for them to fluff up, but I waited several hours before using them. The pillows are long (I ordered Queen size), but they are very narrow. They are hard to keep contained in a pillow case because of the shape and unusual narrowness. I also found that I had a hard time getting the pillow to stay under my head without continued adjustment because there was nowhere for the extra stuffing to go when squashed down because the shape is so narrow. Overall, I think I will be able to use these pillows designed for side sleepers, but it will take quite a bit of getting used to. I hope this is helpful. Enjoy! ... show more

To the photos more. Didn't realize that these were a different shape pillow. Took forever to get them out of the packaging they came in. Just too tightly compressed in there. Once they came out I was concerned over how flat they were but also knew they needed time to unflatten and puff up. These did puff up after a few days. They also are cool to the touch, but ONLY if you don't put any pillow cases on them...otherwise there is no particular coolness about them? These are good pillows if you don't mind the shape. ... show more

watching them fill out was actually kinda fun, since they arrived so tightly wrapped... anyway, great pillow, so silky soft to the touch and cool like it stated, nice and firm and the curved side outlines your neck and shoulder to get a comfy position without the stress on your shoulders. something not that important but i appreciated was how it slid right into the pillowcase, no tugging or rotating the pillow to get it in properly, and it stays put inside the case. even the hubby said - 'i really slept great' when i asked him how he liked it. ... show more
