Rated current matched my motor/controller.I was even able to run a 7amp controller with this.The battery socket is different from my bike.I have a hey bike ranger v.1.The slim flat battery socket did match my frame which is lucky.I hope this company does something to keep that deeper battery socket and the slimer flatter socket base universal.The original four prong battery worked in the 2 prong port that comes with the flat battery base as well.

I have only had this battery for a couple of weeks. I charged it to full the first time use. It seems to have plenty of power. I have a DJ folding ebike and the first charge lasted over 40 miles. Understand I only use the battery for going up hill and for speed in crossing intersections. I will try and give another report once I have used it for several months. Note: The user manual indicates it should not be charge fully (80%) and should not be used below 20%. Only problem with that is trying to determine how to read 80% and 20%. Thre is an indicator or battery in red and green lights but it is difficult to tell percentages but having only 3 lights. My controller on the bike gives me a range of charge in 5 increments. Might be easier to use that guage to monitor change on batter.
